The food reminded me of when I was at Hawaii. It was so good. The pork was amazing, and their mac salad is the only one I like. The coconut shrimp has great flavor and was the perfect level of crispness. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Awesome place in cute little Forest Grove. The food is authentic local (Hawaii) style. The service is friendly. The decor and music totally evokes Honolulu memories. Every time I come to FG (2-3x/year) I make sure to eat here at least once. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. I really wish they were nearer to my home!

We went to the food truck. I got coconut shrimp and the spicy poke and all mac. The shrimp and poke were amazing, the Mac was not my favorite (which it usually is at other Hawaiian Bbq). It was a little pricey after upgrades and tip, and the portions felt kind of small. I would try it again to see if there’s something else on the menu I would like more. Service was great and the food came out very quickly.

DELICIOUS! Cute little food cart area downtown hillsboro. For $10 you can get a Mana Bowl, pick your base, choose up to THREE protein choices, and add a side! All for $10!! I had rice with Coconut shrimp, Kalua Pork and Spicy Ahi Poke with a side of Edamame. It was extremely filling! There’s so many combo choices to mix and match. There’s tables and chairs outside but covered with heat, lights and sanitizing stations.

A nice quiet place with a calm laid back atmosphere, the reggae adds to it all. The food is fantastic and the service is great. They do a great job making you feel welcomed and fed. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for some great Hawaiian food.

Went in needing Loco Moco. I left greatly satisfied. First off, I’m really picky about Mac Salad. It’s not one of my favorites, but some places make it great. Most, it just gets left as a lump on my plate. I enjoyed their Mac Salad! 5/5 there. Everything else on the plate was just as good.

Filling, a bit pricey but you will get a plateful of your money’s worth. Good crispy spam musubi, great Kalua pork but very fatty and decadent so it’s a bit hard for me to finish. Chicken is flavorful but preference-wise it’s thin if you like thin chicken Katsu it’s perfect for you. The coconut shrimp was insanely good and caramélisés and crispy and flavorful. Server was super kind and helpful and ready to refill our water often.

Ate dinner there tonight. We were the only ones there at 5:30. We had been there before, and loved it. First our drinks got mixed up, when we changed our order before she made anything. When we let her know there had been a mix up, we were told she had been on the phone. We weren’t going to let her throw away a perfectly good drink. So we settled. Our fault! Except on the phone, shouldn’t be an excuse. Especially when there are no other customers in the whole place! Then when we ordered our dinner, we weren’t sure what we were getting. So we asked her to describe it. She had already entered it into the hand held order device. We realized that was not what we wanted. Nothing doing, we were not allowed to change our order. We were made to order what we actually wanted, on the side. We had tried to order that dishes sauce on the side, and were told that was not allowed. So we ordered the side dish. When it came, there was hardly any sauce on it at all. As much as we initially loved the place the first 2 times we were there. It will be a long time, before we are back. If ever. What happened to give the customer what they want?
