Food is great with large portion. We like wonton soup, sesame chicken, fried rice and tofu.

This is my Hubby’s Favorite place to eat in the desert. We drive to Desert Hot springs just to eat here. The staff are always so friendly and work hard to get your food out fast. The food is always delicious, we’re so glad your back open!

I’ve been going to Kam Lun since I was a little girl with my parents. I have now been coming at least once every two weeks with my own family. We order the same thing every time because we absolutely loved it. My family and I just came in and found out it’s under new ownership. We ordered beef and broccoli dinner special, the beef was chewy the portion was extremely small, I don’t know if maybe Sue gave more because she loves her customers but this portion seemed like a small order. The fried rice we got always came in a large red container with a cap. We got two small bowls of rice. We also ordered the crispy chicken and again portion was small, honestly it still tasted good but portion size was not it. No more fancy traditional tea kettles, now it’s a metal one which changes the flavor of the tea I think. They forgot our appetizers for our dinner special.

What a hidden gem! We were staying at a hotel about a block away, and we found this place tucked away in a small strip mall. Very sweet people, and the food! Yum! And really reasonable! We ordered one dinner and split hot and sour soup, egg roll, beef roll, cheese puff, and BBQ pork Egg Foo Yung. It’s easily enough for 4 people and only $12. If I didn’t live so far away, I would be there 3 times a week! Highly recommend

You’ll understand why to AVOID AT ALL COST the second you roll into the parking lot. If you are a happy person, DO NOT attend. The atmosphere was magical at first, like I was in The Karate Kid. Outside of my imagination it became a horror flick. As I slowly crept back into reality I began to notice my surroundings. he windows are broken the roof is leaking and it smells like cat piss. Which I thought added character to the run down building. Mr Miyagi never showed up so that sucked. Five stars for service because she was very polite to my wife. The cook doesn’t know the difference between Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken, so if you’re ordering the Mongolian beef, please be prepared for a spicy dish with red peppers. We left a nice tip and told the waitress how delicious their food was, but I wouldn’t even send your worst enemy to this place. The waitress deserves much better…

It was ok, food seemed expensive to get what we got, wasnt really the best price considering the food is what I mean. One thing tho despite all what I say, maybe since they are new is why everything wasnt the best, they were painting the walls when we got there. Paid $50 for 2 bowls of fried rice, broccoli, and meat, again food wasnt the best, doesnt have taste honestly so ofc price was way over than what I even expected. I wasnt really greeted that well either when I arrived, technically I got kicked out and still had to go back in for my food… they said they were painting thats why I couldnt dine in but they were painting towards the kitchen area but ok ig… if at least you would have brought it to my car… Didnt even eat in the parking lot cuz of that, in other words I wouldnt go back. Everyone has different taste buds and maybe the ppl werent in the best mood despite remodeling the restaurant. Try it if you like everything, good for you! If not well its up to you to go back.

We have always had such excellent service here and the food is top quality and taste. I would highly recommend that unless you are very tight for money when you visit, even for a quick lunch, that if there are two or more of you that you order ‘al a carte’ off the dinner menu and share the large plates you get. A selection of different meats and flavors in a traditional ‘family style’ meal is not only far more delightful for the customers, but I think the staff have treated us even more warmly when we order that way, also. It is the traditional way to enjoy meals together.
