I was looking for a new dining experience, and this Russian food restaurant did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I especially loved the dumplings – they were so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The decor was lovely and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend.

Order the borscht…delicious…the schnitzel is yum too. The atmosphere is white tablecloths, tasteful modern whimical artwork …mural of pattern that feels Russian…open spacious romantic too. There’s also al fresco dining…..prices expensive even at lunch…but a lovely dining experience…as for service…well we were the only two people for lunch at 12:30 on a Monday…but we had very model-pretty woman with a bemused expression….

I was yearning for Eastern European cuisine therefore we decided to give this place a shot. Overall we were not impressed, food was blank and overpriced. My guest ordered borsch and said it was too sour to his taste. I’ve got Olivie salad and it was heavily overstuffed with mayonnaise. Also ordered pork schnitzel with mashed potatoes and gravy — it was OK but again kinda blank. I’d give 3 stars for the food, but the place was cute and clean, and the service was good too.

First time my girlfriend & I tasting Russian cuisine. This restaurant is second to none in LA. 11/10 service & food. Jarkoe with Chicken & Beef Stroganoff are delicious. Exotic dining experience. Our waitress made sure our time was fulfilled from the moment we sat down until we left. You don’t see that many restaurants with this kind of service. Can’t wait until we come again.

Super delish food! Our favs were the cranberry’s vodka! Kalinka Russian cuisine is a hidden gem, not in busy downtown Glendale. Free parking, amazing food specially Boescht. Menu is great, a little of everything. The hot borscht was excellent. Their bread with yummy eggplant spread was diva! The beef stroganoff was delish. Service was superb. We all raved about the food and will return. Amazing food and night!
