The best BBQ in town! Just follow the smoke and the smell, it Leads you to Kalena! The less impressive the food stand is, the better the food is. And we had an awesome talk with the owner, I really appreciated it! An Teri plate for 13$ is cheap btw!

While everyone is queuing up for The famous Garlic shrimp at Giovanni’s they are definitely missing out on the best bbq in this food park. Teriyaki chicken and New Zealand sausage served with hot cabbage and sweet coconut bread. You can also try their wholewheat banana bread which is very delicious.

Do not let the setup scare you away. The owners will bait you with a sample of their food, and once you taste it, you’ll find yourself returning and getting one of their meals. There is not much to choose from, but I’m a simple eater, and the less I have to try ti figure out what I want, the happier I am. That is precisely what happened to me today. $15 for a full meal and a drink is not bad. I appreciate the food! Keep at it!

Super friendly, amazing food. The char on the chicken was perfect and the kalua pork on point. They ran out of the sweet rolls so he threw some coconut cream on the banana bread. Ono grindz, fam.

Great stop. “Food was excellent” (my husband loved it). He had the Menehune Plate from Kalena’s Hut. BBQ teriyaki chicken, rice, Kalua pork with cabbage, and a brown gravy. The portion was a little on the small side, in my opinion, and cost $13. Very friendly/nice service. They have 2 grills going cooking the meats.

Fall off the bone terriyaki chicken, hungry man plate so good – also comes with imported sausage, pork and cabbage, rice, sauce, dessert and meat juices all so good (i ate it along with my meal! Nice shade tent! Next time im going to try terriyki burger!

this pork and chicken is sooooo good! it just melts into your mouth and the sauce is amazing. the owner is also very friendly and chatty and funny. great food and experience.
