Very friendly staff. Owner came around to all the tables to talk to everyone and ask about their experience. Will be back when I’m in the area.

Such a warm welcome experience with amazing food. Staff was very helpful and always ready to take any special requests. They made special sushi for us. Definitely will be returning to this place. Very small and very homemade very good. Definitely a must go to place. Really good sushi high-quality. Sashimi was fantastic. Service was even better. Classic Japanese style very fun. If you’re in town definitely check it out, a cute quiet little place that does food right. The sushi bar selection is good and the beer selections even better

Love this small sushi place tucked into Main street. Always friendly, great help in ordering and good size servings (6pcs per roll)

I broke my first rule of going to a sushi restaurant. If the sushi chefs aren’t Japanese then I don’t go. I should not have broken that rule. Kaito is the worst sushi restaurant I have ever gone to. My uncle ordered some mixed tempura appetizer($9) and couple California rolls ($20). The tempura tasted like Trader Joe’s tempura but the cal rolls were ok. I ordered the sushi 7 dinner with Crunchy Roll($32). The fish didn’t smell fresh and I had to get extra wasabi to kill the taste. My wife order a teriyaki salmon/crunchy roll bento box ($24). She said the very small piece of salmon tasted like it was out of a box and microwaved. The crunchy roll was very subpar. My Mom ordered the teriyaki chicken/cal roll bento box ($24). The very small piece of chicken was dry but the cal roll was good. When the best tasting thing at a Japanese restaurant is the potato salad, you know you are at the wrong place. It didn’t help that I got bad gas either. We should have went to Koi. We will never go back to Kaito.

Unsure why this place has amazing reviews. Staff was lovely and friendly, however the food was not great. We came here for a special occasion hoping to enjoy some great sushi and got fish and rolls covered in heavy and overpowering sauces (even the sashimi?). Was off-putting to say the least. Hopefully we just caught them on an off day, but not worth wasting the money for another try.
