Visited during “dinner time”. I ordered the jerk chicken dish that came with cabbage, rice and beans, and sweet plantains.

It’s very difficult for me to write this review because I want to see people win. However, I have to prevent or prepare others from being disappointed, under-serviced and overcharged. I should have read the reviews before going. I wasn’t going to write a review but dicided to do so after reading that others had similar experiences.

Let me say the ambiance of this place was amazing. The staff was soooo friendly as soon as you walk in. The music had me singing all night too! I ordered the Rasta Pasta and I do Have to say I was A bit disappointed it didn’t have much flavor that I was expecting. A few of the other people in my party were not satisfied with their food either. I did Have the opportunity To try the lobster Mac & cheese and that is a must get! The sous- chef did come out to speak with us regarding our dinning experience. We did share what we liked, disliked and ways we thought things could improve. Overall great experience I would Come back during brunch to see what that is like.

I’ve been here several times last year for brunch & the food was amazing. However I went yesterday & I was disappointed. The ambiance was lacking, there was no music playing at one point & once it was it was drag music that ruins the mood.

I live down the street and have been wanting to try this place for a while.

The food looks good but has absolutely NO taste especially for the prices I shouldn’t be having to try and add salt and pepper to make the food taste better. Adding the salt and pepper didn’t help!

They were out of three items on the menu that I wanted. The honey jerked salmon was delicious. I didn’t like the automatic gratuity and service fee for our small party of 3. We have no problem tipping but I’ve only ever seen automatic gratuity added to large parties. Nevertheless, the food was good and atmosphere was great. Also the music selection was outstanding!

The food here is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is more like a New York City lounge with great mood lighting and music. We started with the guacamole and chips and it was the best guacamole I have ever had. So fresh! I had the impossible bolognese which was phenomenal and you would never know it wasn’t actual meat. The pasta and sauce were fresh and delicious. My Mom had the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly. Moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. We also had Sangria which was freshly made and extremely refreshing. For dessert we had the cheesecake with blueberry compote. Velvety smooth and delectable. The restaurant is spacious on the inside with tables spaced out enough to allow for privacy. They also have an amazing outdoor space with an equally great NYC vibe! It wasn’t too crowded but the restaurant is new. So I hope more people give it a try. You will be just as impressed as we were!!!.

Happy hour is one of the best in DTLA. Veggie tacos were full of flavor, tortillas the perfect kind of crispy and the Paloma (shout out to Jojo) imaginative and delicious. Paired with the fact it’s full of plants, Black owned and music/vibes are great.
