There’s no sign on the building so it’s a little confusing. They weren’t busy when we went in. Our food was mediocre at best. I had sushi and my boyfriend had steak. Not wowing. Pretty expensive too. I don’t usually pay $20 for a sushi roll. There’s a casino in the back of the building.

The food was delicious! The staff was very attentive and friendly. It felt very family orientated, we were checked up on by multiple staff members and had some of our food hand delivered by the chef himself. Overall it was delightful and we’ll definitely be back to try more of the extensive menu items!

Today was the first time I’ve been in for lunch, and I had a friend and my mom with dementia with me. The service was OUTSTANDING, and our server was so kind & patient with my mom. My burger was perfect, and today’s “creature feature” sushi roll was on point! Libby is lucky to have such a great restaurant in our little town.

Food was good, we enjoyed it and it definitely fulfills the sushi craving. However the atmosphere was frustrating. We heard the owner and manager publicly berating an obviously new server because she couldn’t pronounce some words on the menu, which seems like a lack of training on their part, as well as other minor things common for a new employee. Our drinks and appetizer order was taken and served pretty quickly, but then we waited about 30 minutes to place our food order, and about another 40 to receive 3 sushi rolls (we spent about 90 minutes there over all). As we were finishing someone came in to pick up to-go order and the manager told her it wasn’t ready because they’d been “so busy in house” which seemed an exaggeration. All tips go into a pool (which I understand the reasoning behind) however I felt like our server deserved a tip and the sushi chef/manager didn’t based on attitude. I understand people have busy or bad days, but based on my experience in the food industry the way the servers were being spoken to seemed pretty standard.

First time eating a Kaiju tonight, the food is beyond amazing I greatly enjoyed the Hedorah Rolls, if you are.looking more elevated meal I’d definitely recommend Kaiju for your dinning experience.

Like the salmon in the Kootnai, the fish has arrived! Tempura, nigiri, sashimi and rolls! Fresh and well constructed! Nice to not have to travel to Kalispell for sushi! Well done Frank!

The wait time is atrocious. Even on a slow night it took forty minutes to get 2 rolls. The food is good but if you have any plans I suggest calling it in they seem to do those before dine in.

The owner is SPECTACULAR! You can tell he desires for his business to thrive and his customers to have a fantastic experience. He’s constantly training and teaching his staff and interacting well with customers – especially the kids! The food is delicious!
