Great setting for a restaurant. Food came out fairly quick. Has a few vegetarian options. We got fajitas which were on the sweeter side and a lot of squash in them. Server was very friendly.

Service and atmosphere were good, right by the ferry station so sitting on the patio is nice if the weather is good. The food was OK, they were out of Jalapeno’s when we were there, how does a Mexican food restaurant run out of that at 3pm? But that’s not why I docked a star, the food itself was just ok compared to other places in Edmonds (like the Santa Fe grill).

This beautiful restaurant offers really quality guys but at a higher price. You won’t be disappointed by their food or beverage. Be aware, they charge for chips and salsa and two tacos with two sides will run you $18.99 for lunch. Their sides are amazing with a generous portion. WHEN YOU ARRIVE, you may wait for a while for the staff to notice you. The group in front of me waited about five minutes then left. I held on for about ten minutes then someone came to the front. Plenty of open seating, but their service and prices may be contributing to that. Wonderful location, just take your time and expect to pay a little more. I still recommend it.

This is a great spot down by the ferry to grab some dinner. Had some nice seating outside on a nice sunny day. Can get a little busy with the ferry traffic driving by but wasn’t really noticeable. Great drinks, I ordered the mango margarita, great quac that comes on a stone dish. Birria and carne asada tacos had excellent flavor, although I wish it came with 3 instead of 2 tacos. The kids burrito was really big for a kids plate and actually tasted amazing. Kinda expensive for the amount of food (not including kids menu). Wasn’t super busy bust service was really slow. Took 30 mins to get the check after asking twice. With a couple small tweaks they could definitely get 5 stars

Had been wanting to try out Kahlo’s, and since we had a group of six figured a reservation was a good idea. We were seated promptly, and we liked the vibe and modern decor. Everyone liked their drinks. We went with the Asada Tacos and a Taco Salad. I enjoyed the street style tacos, the creme corn was tasty, but discovered Mexican white rice is, simply white rice. It just needed something else added to it. The Taco salad was tasty but adding chicken is an extra charge. Our server was polite and friendly, but stretched thin. Seemed like they needed more staff. He was serving and bussing. Almost felt he had to work kitchen too. Ticket time ran past 30 min. and never got water refilled. We had great conversation going, so the wait wasn’t a big deal. Prices seemed reasonable, but shouldn’t chips and salsa be complimentary? Overall it was a fun evening, and we left satisfied.

Food is good, needed more spices but that is a matter of taste. Portions are decently sized, for the price so you won’t leave hungry. I will say the atmosphere is fine(but struggles to define what it wants to be) Could be a noisy restaurant when it gets a bit more crowded. Bar is very well stocked!
