Great place to see a coffee farm, get FREE coffee tasting, and buy handcrafted drinks. There are two free coffee farm tours a day at 11am and 1pm. They don’t have coffee tours on the weekend though. The gift shop smelled like coffee heaven! There is outside seating to enjoy your drinks, and they have a very clean public restroom. They also have a store in Kona if you just want to get some of their coffee.

This app has great products. My son and I came across it adventuring in 2016. I liked it enough to stop again on this trip with my wife. We got several items to bring home. The coffee products are not cheap, but they are a value based on the quality of the products. They have a covered car area just outside the shop and attached to the building. We did not explore that area, so I don’t know what they have out there.

Pretty cute coffee place. They have a coffee shop up front for you to buy a cup of coffee or a bag of beans. You can sample the different types they have available before you choose which is nice. They have plenty of sitting area outside that overlooks the orchard. If you would like to walk around instead of sitting, they let you walk around the orchard. They also have free tours at 11 and 1 o’clock if you would like to know more about their process

Our family of five from Texas and Oklahoma visited Oahu and the Big Island for Spring Break! We were driving from Hilo to Naalehu and happened to see a sign for the Kau Coffee Mill and decided to stop by! So glad we did!! There were not any tours that day since we were there on a Sunday, but the employees took the time to give us a “mini tour” inside the store front! We learned quite a lot about the coffee operation and enjoyed the little tour!! We sampled some coffee they had before deciding which ones we wanted to purchase!! The employees were very friendly and helpful in deciding which coffees would be best for our taste!! Would recommend visiting if you are in the area!!

Great storefront with wonderful farm grown coffee and macadamia nuts. There’s a nice cafe that sells espresso drinks, smoothies, and baked goods. We took their 1pm free tour-about 20” long and even kids like it. FYI if it’s raining tour is cancelled. They have an amazing assortment of coffees to sample. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend.

We loved our visit here while on the big island. We were able to try different flavors and enjoy the gift shop that also served shakes and fancy coffee. We also walked around the property and saw coffee plants and the beans at different stages in the harvesting process. If you love coffee: this is a visit you do not want to miss.

I had such a wonderful experience here. I had a delicious honey cinnamon latte while we walked around the property. I also bought a shirt that didn’t quite fit. I called and talked to Lou who was very helpful and thankfully they have a shop in Kona that I was able to go in for an exchange. There, I got a chai latte that was phenomenal. I didn’t get the woman in Kona’s name but everyone was super helpful. 10/10 recommend the coffee and the service.

Stopped on the way back from the Volcano National Park. Not far off the main road. They had an extensive menu of coffee drinks and fruit slushes. Also a great variety of products for sale. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had free samples available. They also have free tours twice a day. Glad we stopped to check them out.

What a delightful surprise. We really enjoyed our stop at KAU Coffee Mill. They had a nice selection of coffee and the samples were all tasty. I highly recommend the Red Frapp. It’ll make your hair stand up (or maybe that was all the samples) perfect for sipping as you take the 15 min mill tour. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the process and products. My favorite stop of the day. Highly recommend if you love coffee. Great gift package items too.
