I cannot explain the magic of this bar/grill combo… You say simple bar food, rowdy atmosphere… I say… Order some fry for pickup because there won’t be a table available on Friday for you to plant your butt down on. The wait staff is polite, considerate, and attentive… They also have broasted chicken that I would drive across the Country to munch.. I can’t stop thinking about it… Enough said.

The Friday fish was adequate, but not great. We arrived during rush hour and we were seated quickly. Unfortunately we were given the worst table in the place; a two seater right in the aisle. There was barely space for people to walk by without bumping into us.

Prime example of a hometown bar. Excellent service, friendly conversational staff, and great drinks and food. Friday fish fry had options from Perch, pike (baby or regular), haddock, salmon. Also burgers and plenty of fry options. 10/10 will visit again.

We have made this our favorite for Perch dinner. Great food! Now the to get served is another story. Tonight was the last straw. We sat at the bar for 15 min (the big crowd left) only for the bartender Jenny to bypass us 3 times and serve others next to us. Then a big group came in and the other bartender served all them meanwhile Jenny decides to then start selling pull tabs to the people next to us. We waved our hand, said something, and waited patiently only to get ignored. So we walked out and got fish and drinks back in town. Like I said..great drinks and food but service is not good to get a drink or be noticed at the bar unless it’s the owner.

Quality of the fish is pretty solid, breading is pretty bland. Curds we’re still frozen in the middle and decent dark beer on tap. Newsmax TV (!) blaring throughout.
