“This isn’t fast food, it’s good food” the owner told us and she was so right! All the recipes plus the smoker belong to the woman who runs the place. We had to wait for our food because the place was slammed – we got there before they ran out of food, thankfully. Best BBQ I’ve had in a long while. Great people and great food. Get there early.

Whenever my step father comes to town, this is the place he wants to eat from. We love the smokey flavor and the quality of the food. This was my first experience, and although I would have loved beef brisket or smoked chicken (they were all out), the chopped beef was pretty good! I usually do not enjoy potato salad, but theirs was delicious. The asparagus was flavorful and crispy… So good!! I like that they run out of food, even if I don’t get what I wanted, makes me believe it is fresh! I will def be trying it again, but placing my order sooner in the day! :). The staff is very friendly!

The first time I ordered food here I had the ribs. They were great. The customer service was simply remarkable. Very polite lady. I originally went to try the brisket, but she was all out. After the hospitality here and the delicious ribs I was definitely coming back. To which I did. The brisket was the best I’ve had in a long time. Definitely beats out everyone else in the area. Eat here once and you’ll be hooked. I know I am.

I enjoy the food here every time I go. I try to make it in once a week for the tasty BBQ Bridget is very friendly and always welcomes you by name when you walk in the door. She is like a flash in the back running around preparing the meals.

Awesome ribs, brisket ajs the classic southern sides with deep fried okra and sweet potato tartar tots. It’s saint Louis style bbq so it’s smoked with a dry rub but don’t miss out on the awesome home made sauce that Bridgett makes. Certainly does not need sauce but hers is awesome, either the mild or hot variety.

This place is a labor of love for proprietress Brigitte Wooten. She has mastered the art of the smoker and we all get to benefit. The meats are the thing here, with a few sides for accent. Tucked away in a strip mall next to Goodwill, include this on your agenda if you’re in the Holland/Saugatuck area.

I love her wing basket and her food is always made fresh.. Only problem I have is sometimes when my family and I dines in and I ask for things like hothouse or anything extra she will make a smart comment or act like Im annoying. Im not sure if this is her way of joking or what. Other than that service and food is greatttt!
