I recently visited “Just Mac” and was blown away by the delicious Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was so full of flavor, smooth and creamy, it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Buffalo Mac for myself and it was a perfect combination of spicy and cheesy. It was definitely one of the best Mac and cheese dishes I’ve ever had.

We must have picked a good time to eat there because it was quiet and empty, which meant fast service. We tried out their wings (didn’t disappoint), had their spinach artichoke dip (Yum), and delicious 4 cheese mac and cheese dish. Would definitely come back same time and place for a quick and good meal!

3 ⭐️ food was good nothing great, wings ok, my rating is mainly because of the price…all my pics is everything I ordered plus I told cashier I wanted the Pitmaster 1 lb. but that wasn’t added and total was still around $100 (fooled me) not including extra ranch I wanted was $1 for same size in the pic. Soda machine was out so I had to soend extra bottled drinks. Staff was cool not rude but not polite just ok I was only one in restaurant and took a bit for them to take my order at least acknowledge the customer they are there and let them know. This restaurant should have specials or discounts way over priced military, police, first responders, teacher, etc something like most restaurants. I only paid because I wanted to try something new and I drove for a min to come but never again ONLY because $$$ I understand that in these times prices high but damn, I was like why nobody here (Friday night 7pm-ish) food look good on pics… that is until cashier had to pry my card from my hands to tap it on machine. Overall it’s ok to try but it’s not one of those “you get what you pay for” type things. Then I asked about my Pitmaster she explained she didn’t ring that up or 2 of my bottled drinks. I was flabbergasted because no Pitmaster and she didn’t charge me for 2 of the 4 drinks and still around $100 no mames C’mon….

Okay, 1st the music was sooooo loud, so it was very distracting when we were trying to have a conversation. A positive….I ordered the chicken and waffles mac and I enjoyed it. I wish there was a larger Mac plate option with the chicken and waffles, but it wasn’t over filling either. It took me awhile to figure out the flavor profile and then it hit me…NUTMEG and it definitely added some umph to the flavor. Now a few issues. We were a little irritated when we asked for a little extra sauce for our hamburger and they wanted to charge, but whatever. And last, but not least, you might want to offer a metal knife to customers that want to cut there burgers. A flimsy plastic knife doesn’t cut it. The soda machine being down wasn’t necessarily a big deal,but it was just a flat out mess around that whole machine trying to get some water. I was simply visiting Houston, so a repeat visit won’t happen for me, but my family mentioned they will definitely go to another location they prefer.

You might have lost a customer today. I tried to call in an order and they said they didn’t do phone orders. So they put the work onto me (the customer) to fill out a whole forum with all my info and my credit card number which took forever on their slow website. I wanted the one on Westheimer, yes. But apparently they have two Westheimer locations. I chose the wrong location, so I paid for my meal (which was expensive by the way) at the wrong location which ended up being 30 minutes away with traffic. Once I picked up my order, the portion size was small and when I tasted it everything was burnt.

The drink machines are still out of service. They do have water and bottled tea, but they are about 4.00 each. smh, so the last time I went to this location,I got it to go. Unfortunately,the Mac just wasn’t what it could be. I got the Armadillo, but it had no flavor other than extra jalapeño and bacon here and there. It happens, I get it. My BFF got his usual wings with extra sauce, which he loves, and they were fine. The staff is friendly and the location was clean. But to be honest, just go to the Montrose location. 🙂
