Ambience was good soul music waitress was so friendly and nice. Restaurant was clean. Food was made to order hot delicious and fresh. The only thing missing was dessert. Fried catfish is SO SO GOOD. I got spaghetti and fries for my sides and they were both equally as amazing. Love our waitress we always get. Not sure of her name. But she makes us feel so comfy and happy there!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The owners are Amazing. The waitress Amber is the BEST she was very attentive to us and very professional. Let me tell you the food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very intimate for any group of people, and guess what they even play music that makes you want to get up and dance.

I recently visited this soul food restaurant and was blown away by the delicious flavors and friendly staff. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a cozy dinner with friends or family. I highly recommend trying the rib tip dinner and mac and cheese they were definitely DELICIOUS! We had such a great time at restaurant in our little home town of Freeport Illinois! We enjoyed the food so much that we will definitely be returning soon!

Best Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! My mother raved over the fish and my grandkid liked the ribs so much she ate her leftovers for breakfast. Waitress was great as well! Prompt, kind, knowledgeable and even funny. She knew when to laugh with us without laughing at us. We asked a bunch of dumb questions, so she definitely could have laughed at us! But she didn’t. FANTASTIC!

One of the best places I’ve been to eat in a long time. The deep fried Italian beef was amazing, the rib tips were fall apart and perfectly made. The mac and cheese is on point with tasting like its baked and smoked, and their made in house lemonade is to die for. 100% recommend for your next meal.
