Best country fried steak! -Not greasy or rich, I order gravy on the side. Corned Beef Hash is homemade with large crispy chucks of tender corn beef & potatoes. The clam chowder is amazing! The strawberry shake tasted like strawberry quick-sooo nostalgic. Friendliest cook & waitresses, brings a cozy vibe in this clean little diner. Definitely a place where the locals dine. A new favorite for our family. *Pictures below- crispy corn beef hash & country fried steak with sausage gravy on the side. Thank you Sherry & Mike!! See you soon!

Tiny restaurant hiding in plain sight on Viking Way. A small counter and three tables for guests. Friendly staff, friendly regulars. Food is amazing! Homemade corned beef hash! Hash brown delight is soooo good- even better with country gravy on top. The fellas that open in the morning work solo, and they are fabulous. Find them brewing coffee, taking orders, cooking, bussing, and cashiering. They make it look easy.

This little diner is great! I was in town for the day and they were the only diner open at 630am. The staff was great, food excellent, and the regulars were enjoying their game and food. Great experience. Would go again.

We love stopping in when we’re in the neighborhood. Don’t let first impressions fool you, the food is great and the service keeps us coming back. It feels alot like going to a friend’s house for breakfast that works really well.

My husband and I like to eat at out of the way places whenever we travel. This place did not disappoint. Yes, it is small, and yes, the building is old, but the atmosphere inside was extremely welcoming and friendly by staff and customers.

An old breakfast and lunch diner with a nostalgia of its own. A very compact dining area with three tables (with one more outside, too) and a counter. The dining area was run by one person and she really does everything. The kitchen cooked up our breakfasts hot and fresh and in ample portions. All in all, I would come here again to step back in time and especially if you need a break from the chain restaurants.

Seeing friendly staff and regular customers rolling in were a good start. Got sat, ordered, and got served quick. Wait staff grabbed an extra ask quick, but that’s one of the advantages of eating in a smaller joint- less distance to walk.

Biscuits and gravy were great, coffee was good, and the price was right. The ladies working were very friendly. Reminded me of the small family diners from my hometown in the Midwest. The place is really small but they do have some space outside to sit. Looking forward to going again. Highly recommended.

One of those old hole in the wall diners that appears far from fancy with 3 old tables and a bar for booth seating that runs as long as the 3 tables and has another 2 or.3 seats off to the right. Your menu is usually in the napkin holder. Unless you’re lucky to get a table (if you see one open when you first walk in, don’t walk, run to it! If it isn’t clean yet then it will be shortly…unless you prefer the booth-that is. The booth seats are outdated to say the least, well loved and worn. I like to think of it like the Velveteen Rabbit. (See photo) and this is the place that dreams are made of! If you want a real burger that beats McDonald’s like they aren’t in the same category, or sausage patties that have been slapped around and flattened out by 2 loving hands with a side of ketchup, or orange juice that tastes like nostalgia mixed with happiness, and you don’t mind watching the waitress pour it right from the carton (at least now you can note the brand for when you go grocery shopping)… milkshakes with or without malt, blueberry pancakes bigger than your plate (and they taste nothing like i-hop, in the best way), well… here you go. Just don’t be late! This trucker diner opens at 5am and closes at 2pm!. I absolutely, hands down recommend it!
