My favourite Japanese restaurant in Colorado Springs! I love the variety of special sushi rolls. My favourite one was Las Vegas – it’s huge!

Honestly, it’s been a few months since I was last here, but think about how much fun I had so often, I had to come here and leave a rating, because they absolutely deserve a great review. When I wanted to impress my new husband and my new in-laws, I knew I had to bring them to Jun’s for dinner at a teppan table. I had eaten there before and knew it was a slam dunk. I requested Joe, and he did not disappoint. Joe is funny, charismatic, and has excellent showmanship at the griddle. Jun himself likes to make the rounds, checking on his guests, making them feel very welcome and at home. The food is always fresh and delicious, the drinks are always good, and the atmosphere of fun and artistry is a perfect catalyst for getting to know strangers and friends alike. I’ve never had a bad time here and the food has never even slightly disappointed. To eat at one of Jun’s tables is to have a truly one of a kind experience that you will want to share with everyone you know. If you’re still wondering whether or not to give this place a shot, you should! You will only ever be so glad you did! I can’t wait till I can get back up to the Springs for another meal!

How do you describe the word lurid? and a Guatemalan man who’s been working there for 17 years asked me how old I was today you said that the tuna was fresh and to know wasn’t fresh oil used to live fishing .and sailed and fish tuna, as not fresh food honestly I just find it really creepy that a guy would ask me my age really?

I know their specialty is food however I couldn’t help but notice while waiting for my takeout how unclean the foyer is. The tree besides the front door has never been pruned and caked with dust. The foyer carpet is absolutely filthy and did not inspire confidence of what the kitchen may look like. I can’t speak to the dining experience as my first ever visit was takeout sushi (spicy salmon roll and miso soup). My sushi was good. I would say average for the Springs. I would be willing to try more. I know restaurant owners get into routine and the day to day but they should never take for granted first impressions of a new customer and the cleanliness of the foyer was not good at all and this is where guests first meet your business. The host was friendly. Overall my food experience was ok but I was definitely put off by the foyer. From the front desk, I could see the main dining area was clean. Again, my review is only based on my first takeout experience.

The service was great, friendly, and fast. Very attentive. The chef was also very personable and impressive as well as entertaining. The food…OMG, so good!! It’s pricey, but well worth the splurge.

Website is out of date, references daily Happy Hour from 5-6pm. Claimed website is “5+ years old”. Update your business info or don’t bother with a website. Weirdly attacking me in the response. They control their business listing on Google Maps and need to delete their website information (or simply update it) instead of attacking potential customers.

I really enjoyed this location (they have two). They provided good service, they answered all of my questions regarding menu items and, most importantly, the sushi was great. I had the salmon sashimi and the rainbow roll. I think that this might be my new “sushi spot”. I will definitely be back to this location again.

Was expecting a crab leg on each role which i have been to the restaurant before an they were able to do that, an it was the only reason i went back. Once i got my roll i thought there was misunderstanding but no they have cut back on there quality of crab meat wich is now equal to tuna in a cann ( blahhhh) . An the waitress was disappointed over the no tip when i specifically had asked her for the roll with the crab legs an didn’t get that in return i mean in reality if you were paying over twenty dollars for a meal the waitress could at least be honest an not sell a lie very disappointed on the disrespect its not been a pleasure wont do business again!!! Delicious hibachi and great service! It was really great to meet Joel close to seven years ago and still see him every time we go in, and his presentation and food are always amazing. We always make sure to visit on the days he works specifically. My husband and father-in-law love this place, and I can see why!
