Ok, to be honest we dove right in and ate 2 slices before we remembered to taka a photo. The hot sizzling pizza was just too tempting. The first bite confirmed that at Julio’s, they ticked all the pizza boxes so to speak, crust, sauce, toppings, cheese all excellent. Don’t waste your time eating pizza anywhere else.

The young lady Regina working the counter was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she efficient, she was very pleasant, personable, and kind. In addition, she showed impressive peel skills! Watching her work the ovens to ensure each pizza was lovingly cared for was like watching a cross between Serena Williams, Lionel Messi, and Tom Brady at the peak of their careers. Amongst the chaos of Wednesday pizza night, she was a sea of calm on which we sailed to our pizza dreams. If there were a counter person hall of fame, she would be our nomination. We will be returning for this exceptional experience again and again. And pizza was excellent!

I am vegan – they were super accommodating! Before ordering, I was told that the personal pie would be the size of the 11inch box [shown in the picture] – to my surprise the pie was nearly half the box :/ Big points for taste, but pretty disappointed to have paid $18 for essentially a slice, maybe two, of pizza

I ❤️ NEW JERSEY! Been living in Arizona for about 13 years ,nothing better than being back in the garden state with my eyes on that jersey pie ! Had a NY peppers and onions yesterday, a grandma pie today, think I’ll have a margarita tomorrow! Great pizza pairs well with Yuengling !

Found this local pizzeria after a long day at the Sandy Hook Beaches and was pleasantly surprised with my experience! The food was wonderful, and the wings were very good. Some of my friends considered them a little crispy but I preferred it that way. But the overall atmosphere and service made the experience for me. The staff were very friendly and active in making us feel welcome and wanted as diners.

I thought I’ve reviewed Julio’s but apparently I didn’t on Google. I’ve ordered from every pizzeria in Middletown and most of the surrounding area over the past 20 years. Julio’s is hands down the best – not only their food, but from their owners down to their delivery drivers. If I ever had an issue (which were few in my dozens of orders over the last year) – it was rectified immediately and personally. Their pizza is perfection. It’s consistent and made with care. Their Sicilian is great – the right amount of crunch and fluff. And their Neapolitan pies are perfect – not too thin or thick. Their sauce and cheese is amazing. Their subs are awesome too. Honestly their ingredients are super high quality and that along with their chefs, makes incredible pies. I know their pickle pizza is the signature but the pepperoni, onion and hot honey is amazing and so is the sausage pepper onion pie. You won’t be disappointed in this place. They’ve recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary I believe and I hope there are many more to come. Thank you for being my family’s pizzeria. Shout out to their driver who is a Bills fan!

Excellent pizza!! A small (very small) independent pizza restaurant. We had 2 large NY style pepperoni pizzas and loved them. The garlic knots were extremely small, but were good. The prices were on par, if not cheaper, than most places. The closest chain I can compare it to nationally is Sbarro, but Julio’s is better in my opinion, plus I always enjoy supporting local businesses that provide variety and do it right. Inside the seating is limited. For dining in, the most people at 1 table is 4 people, and there are about 5 tables along the wall, and a counter table with a few bar stools that face the window to the main street . The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom. I’d definitely eat here again.

Try the Pickle pie or a slice! Pretty great food and nice customer service. We had a Pickle pie, bbq chicken pie, and some churros! Food came out hot and was pretty tasty. Crust was pretty perfect not too thin or thick. Would definitely recommend for a pizza craving!

My kids and I make it a point to stop at Julio’s every time we are visiting my father in Atlantic Highlands. Best pizza around and great all around spot. My daughter is a very picky eater and doesn’t normally eat pizza….only Julio’s.
