Julian Beer Co truly impressed me with its warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The abundance of seating areas provided ample choices for relaxation, and I was able to find the perfect spot to unwind. However, I must admit that the dry brisket left something to be desired in terms of tenderness and flavor. Despite this minor setback, the overall experience at Julian Beer Co was delightful. Parking can be challenging on a busy day.

For a brewery, the food is excellent. We had the brisket sandwich and the Mountain Fire Pizza. The brisket sandwich was great and so was the pizza. We ordered the pizza well done, but it still could’ve been cooked a little longer. Nevertheless, flavors were very good. Also, the pizza is huge. It can easily feed 4 people, or 3 hungry people.

THE MAC N CHEESE! The food here is out of this world. The counter service was efficient and friendly, and indoor and outdoor bench, bar & table seating was super family friendly and not too rowdy-loud. Thoroughly enjoyed the tender juicy and flavorful kielbasa, the delicious pulled pork sandwich, and our root beer float to finish!

I would drive the 3 hours from HB just to have the ribs and sausage. Smoky, juicy pork ribs and an incredibly flavorful and juicy kielbasa sausage. The potato salad was creamy with generous chunks of potato. A perfect complement was the Old Fashion Julian Apple Cider. The watermelon side was a sweet ending to the meal. Damn good BBQ.

Ordered a couple of brisket sandwiches and watermelon through their website allowing us to skip the line. Service was pretty quick and we were able to sit outside at a table with our dog. Very impressed with the quality of the meat and they had BBQ sauce available (seemed homemade) which was an excellent addition to the sandwich. Definitely recommend!

Was camping nearby and planned to come into town to grab dinner. Stopped here at ordered the Fire at the Mountain pizza and Mexican street corn. To wash it down I got their guest drinks it was a watermelon mint, pretty nice drink! Their pizza was to die for and the street corn was good. I wish it was warmed up a bit but cold works for how make it.

Sunday breakfast at Julian Beer Company is YUMMY! Had the breakfast bites which (as indicated) are big enough to share 2-3 people. I love how light the dough is, the sausage and bacon were crispy and flavorful, eggs soft but not runny. Comes with a side of marinara, plus grab a side of hot sauce & BBQ from the self serve area and you will be in heaven!

What a great place! The food selection is decent, and the beers are good. There are two sides to the place, and if you come in from the back, it can look like you’re in a closed business. Check out the main side. The porches are great to feel like a kid at summer camp having lunch.

Really nice spot for small and large groups. They have tons of seating indoor and outdoor, have QR-code online ordering in addition to traditional, and quite a large menu. The pizzas and wings are pretty good, though I most enjoyed the wedge salad, cheese bread, and brisket. They have tons of beer on tap too. Prices aren’t insane. Solid place for lunch and dinner in Julian.

If making the drive to Julian, the Julian Beer Co is not to be missed. Heaps of space (both indoor and outdoor,) friendly & speedy service, and delicious BBQ. You can smell it from down the street. The Martian IPA and the Summer Lovin really hit the spot on a hot afternoon.
