Very authentic Japanese cuisine and good atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer w/Gozen add-on (+$8) and assorted tempura w/Gozen add-on (+$8) for the dinner. Food was delicious and the portions were okay. I wished they could include an Oshinko (Japanese pickled vegetables) in the add-on. But overall it was pretty good and we’re satisfied. We’ll definitely come back for their lunch special next time. I highly recommend this place.

Hamutal Schieber (Tula)
We had omakase tonight and are already planning the next visit. The food was wonderful, the textures and flavors an explosion of delight. Service was friendly and attentive, and there’s a great sake menu too. Grateful to have such an excellent place close to home (I mean, I did mention the sake :))

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Right from the beginning our waitress, Alisa I think her name was, was very happy to be serving us. She even asked us if we were there for a special occasion, so of course we told her. When dessert came around, the kitchen had written “Happy 2 year anniversary” in Japanese on our plate in chocolate. That kind of personal touch is what keeps people coming back.

Clean restaurant. Service was inconsistent from very attentive to non existent. Fresh food with quality ingredients but portion size was questionable depending on the dish. Very lacking in seasoning. Salmon sushi 5 ways was quality but too subtle and almost tasted all the same.

Excellent restaurant with high quality sushi. Miso salmon was the highlight of our dinner. The mochi was to die for. Yusuke, the manager was the nicest person, explaining where each ingredient came from. Will be back

Let’s start with the sashimi which is always perfect and sized to satisfy you. Service is always attentive reminds you of visiting Japan. Atmosphere is calming and chic so eyes don’t wander from your date.

Good food, and great service. However prices are a high considering the portion sizes. Enjoyed it, but not going to go back – would rather drop the same money for much more food at Hanami or elsewhere

Ambience is very nice and clean. Service is also great. Everyone is extremely attentive and nice. The sushi / lunch sets are decent value. Food quality is above average. However the “entrees” (eg black cod or chicken) leave a lot to be desired. The portions are small and not great value. They literally do not include anything else (eg soup, vegetables or even rice!). All in all a decent experience but they can definitely upgrade some of the menu items.

Their food is very fresh and delicious. I’ve been to Jugemu many times and their Omakase was exceptional and their mother’s day prix-fixe menu and chirash of lunch menu, green tea tiramisu and shrimp tempura were all very good too. I highly recommend this place as this restaurant is an authentic Japanese restaurant.
