Pricey but worth it. Service was great! Food presentation, quality, and taste was perfect! We had the Blue Crab Lollipops, Louisiana Two Birds, Steak and Fries, and the Chevre Cheesecake for dessert which is goat cheese and is bruleed (difference maker!). I chose to have the infused berries on the side. We were unaware of the cotton candy treat but even that was good. I haven’t had cotton candy in a long time. Also, for 25¢, French 75 cocktails hit the spot. Our waiter, Ian, was the best ever; awesome young man.

A nice restaurant with elegantly plated and flavorful delicacies from the Southern kitchen of Louisiana! The tuna sesame with blue cheese and ginger was a delightful appetizer! The ribeye came out perfectly and the mushroom sauce accompanying the steak was a perfect addition on top of the tender cut of meat ! Definitely worth the trip to go have dinner there!

My husband and I were seated at a small table which had bench seating along the wall on one side, and a chair on the other. The hostess was very sweet in offering to turn the table a quarter turn so my husband and I could sit side by side against the wall.

I regularly love to eat out and enjoy a fine dining experience. Well this Sunday, my family and I went to Juban’s for the 1st time, and the food was awful! The good reviews must be written by family members because that food was worse than Piccadilly! The only bright spot was our beverage waitress, Victoriaa, who ended up acting as our server for the evening. I should have realized when the parking lot was empty for Sunday dinner service, that’s a red flag. My mom said she’s had a better filet at Roadhouse, and her runny gumbo tasted like gravy. My sister’s stuffing in her fried soft shell crab tasted like frozen shrimp was used. She barely had Romain lettuce in her Ceasar salad which was underwhelming. My cauliflower soup was just okay, but my redfish tasted like hospital food. Not to mention the side items were lukewarm to cold and flavorless. Keep this in mind, when a fine dining restaurant garnishes their food/plates with slices Lemons, that’s a big . LOL! So, they had a Wagyu burger on the menu, and I love to try burgers at different restaurants, and I ordered one to go at the beginning of our order. I should have looked before leaving. This place is a joke! Please do not waste your time or money to ever eat there! By the way, they took off my meal just by me jokingly letting the server know I’ll bring my fish home to doctor it up. And they gave us a complimentary dish of blue cotton candy….why??? , and a to go order of the densest bread pudding you could ever eat. Stab’s Prime Steak and Seafood and Sullivan’s Steakhouse are the only fine dining restaurants in B.R. that have a great menu and consistently excellent food. P.S. I never asked to speak to a manager because I figure “lesson learned”, and move on, but I was told by John that the manager would come a talk to me, I guess because they removed the cost of my meal without me even asking, and the manager never showed up at the table before we left. LOL! I really think they all know how bad the food is at Jubans Restaurant.

Crawfish hash and grits was phenomenal. Bartender Destiny and Alex customer service was great as well. I appreciate Destiny going above and beyond. The touch the jazz band and ambiance highly recommend. My first and will come back again.

Love this place! A classic rustic southern style restaurant that captures the essence of Louisiana atmosphere and flavorful cuisine. The customer service is outstanding! Particularly Bar Manager Amanda Lamute. She is always smiling, and eager to help. She is great with suggestions and pairings. I feel like a king when I am there and strongly recommend folks to stopping into Jubans.

Make sure you try the boudin dip. I forgot to take a picture until after it was all gone. The red fish was delicious. Their service was great. I can’t wait to go back and try the jazz brunch.

We have recently gone back to Juban’s twice. Once for brunch, which was very lack luster. We sat in the “Tiger” library room… it was filthy; very dusty, shelving was in disarray and overall unkempt. There was a large party that needed tables rearranged to accommodate the number of people. Staff was hurriedly trying to arrange tables, they were loud, rude to the guests and each other. Our servicer was absent a great deal. When I asked the woman at the front she responded “I don’t know… she probably went to the back”. Very rude!

I brought my Friend to Juban’s for the first time and she had an amazing experience. The food and servers, Mr. Jaime and Hannah, were amazing. They were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! Be sure to ask for them. Also, a special shout out to Charlie and Carter. They weren’t our servers, but they also checked on our table. Plus, with my friends Mike Foster and John Gray as the Jazz Band, it just added the cherry on top of our experience! Be sure to visit the Jazz Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00am-3:00pm. You won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely love this restaurant! My wife and I have been coming here for over ten years and the remodel just made it that much better. The redfish Adrian is my all-time favorite! The sweet potato dessert is superb. Kate and Amanda are my favorite bartenders in Baton Rouge….they never fail us.
