My son and I had a late lunch here today and the food is AMAZING! The service was absolutely top notch! We didn’t feel rushed to eat, we sat and talked until there was nothing to talk about! He usually orders a Shirley Temple, the bartender made it the best he ever had! I had a blood orange margaritas and it was definitely one of the best margaritas I’ve had. Chips and salsa then the Spanish Garlic Shrimp! I completely recommend the garlic shrimp. The sauce that accompanies it is addicting. I cannot say anything negative about this restaurant. The staff is great and the owner is such a sweet guy! I highly recommend anyone to try this place if you love authentic Mexican flavors!

My wife and I have eaten here often. Fantastic food! We take friends there too. One odd and annoying thing, though. Chips and salsa are not free. Plain ol’ chips and salsa are $7! We eat Mexican a lot, and this is the only one without free chips and salsa. Then our food took forever to get. Not a big deal because we were talking to friends and having drinks, and I know how hard it is to get help these days. So we asked for more chips and salsa to tide us over. They charged us another $7! First of all, at $7 it should be bottomless. And secondly, given the very long wait, why not make $0.50 worth of food complimentary? Very disappointing. We will go back because the folks are nice and the food awesome – just don’t order the chips and salsa. BYOC!

Service was pretty poor, i never was asked about wanting a second drink during Dinner, had to share my wife’s. In their defense, there were only 2 girls handling everything. Entrees were good, my wife loved hers ( Chicken Enchiladas) . I had to the Fajitas which were good, Steak was overdone, and I got 3 of the tiniest Tortillas I’ve ever seen. I feel everything was overpriced, the chips and Salsa every other Mexican give you as complimentary were 6.95! We had the really small dish of Guacamole for 9.50, and small bottles of Modelos were 7.75! I also got charged for a Credit card fee before I even saw the bill. All in all it was 92 dollars for the 2 of us, we can’t afford to come back.

Our 4th visit and we went to celebrate “Cuatro de Mayo” (too avoid the “Cinco” crowd). The Traditional Margaritas, Queso-Street Corn, Enchiladas de Mariscos, and Carne Asada Fajitas were all outstanding! Couple that with excellent service, enjoyable ambiance, and we couldn’t ask for a better evening. The “Day of the Dead” art work and the rustic decore give you a true “South of the Border” feeling. We will definitely return.

The food was excellent! We had the spicy shrimp appetizer (I’m sorry for not remembering the name), which came with a basket of bread to dip in the sauce. Then, my whole family got various kinds of enchiladas, which had different complementary sauces. Service was quick and attentive, and the waitresses were very personable. We’ll definitely be coming back.
