Sushi tasted amazing!!! We rarely are impressed with food. We generally do not give reviews but since the food was that good we had to this time. The raw fish was extremely fresh, cooked shrimp was delicate and tender, sushi rice was soft like butter with just the right flavoring from the rice vinegar. Spicy mayo was just the right amount of heat for us with a nice depth to the flavor. The quality deserves to be in a 5 star restaurant. Reasonable prices in a very casual low key but clean setting. The sushi chef takes great care making the food. Nice surprise in Mystic Conn. My husband summarizes his opinion as a “CAVEMAN REVIEW”: FOOD GOOD, FRESH, YOU EAT 5 STARS

Amazing! The quality of sushi at this price blew us away. My husband and I had an assortment of rolls and sushi and everything was delicious. The spicy rolls are a true highlight, and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing. My fiancé and I came in with half an hour left open and ordered the spicy salmon, spicy crab, shrimp tempura, and the Alaska roll. For the price, the rolls are filling and delicious. We got another shrimp and spicy crab to go! It’s hard to find sushi which my fiancé loves but every town we visit she always finds one that fits her fancy. The guys are nice and the food is quality. Would recommend if you’re looking for delicious sushi at down to earth prices!

Excellent Sushi for the price!! Absolutely the best!!! A large selection, fresh food, and a great price make this my local favorite for sushi. It is primarily a take out restaurant. There are several small tables inside and a couple of tables outside in front by the road.

I love this PLACE! Very clean inside, you can come here all year round. Probably the best sushi place around this area. It is super delicious and their plating skills are above and beyond. They aren’t expensive at all so please don’t hesitate coming to this sushi place, they make everything right in front of you. fresh and clean. We love it here.

Best sushi! My boyfriend and I come at least once a week (we’re the regulars). We normally buy from mystic, since it’s closer to where we live, but we go to westerly to see Ju every now and then. Never disappointed at either location!

I ordered $15 worth of sushi rolls and paid with a credit card. They have a $10 minimum for credit card purchases. The girl with the neck hickeys never asked me if I wanted drinks. When I realized I didn’t order drinks, she told me I couldn’t buy drinks unless I made a $10 order. She didn’t offer tap water or any apology. Even if the sushi tastes like it was cut off a live fish I wouldn’t come here again.

A small informal place. Don’t let your initial reaction dictate…we stayed the course and enjoyed one of the best sushi meals of our lives…who would’ve thunk? A word of warning, bring your own booze…highly recommend
