JT Wilder BBQ is located in the parking lot of the Ed Forde Service Center directly across the street from the Devon Whole Foods (May-December) and 6 South Lakeside Ave, Berwyn, PA 19312 (January -April). We specialize in smoked brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs and sausage. We also have BBQ half chickens and delicious homemade sides such as smoked mac and cheese, smoked beans and homemade cole slaw. On an impulse I pulled up to the JT wilder BBQ stand to order some pulled pork. The customer service was amazing, they even take venmo as a form of payment. The pulled pork was great, pretty juicy and interesting seasoning! I can’t wait to stop by again.

Stopped in to JT’s today with the team from work for some lunch, and couldn’t be happier with the food or the service. The brisket got rave reviews, as did the ribs and smoked sausage. We ordered in advance, and everything was ready to roll for us when we showed up, super simple. Definitely going to return to try the smoked salmon and armadillo egg, and keeping them top of mind for catering too!

What goes well on a grilled cheese sandwich with Gouda, Gruyère, Colby, peppadew cheddar, and extra sharp cheddar? Smoked brisket, and JT Wilder’s was exactly what I was looking for. Couldn’t be happier with the end result. The brisket grilled cheese was so rich they needed something to cut through and JT Wilder’s Carolina Vinegar Sauce did the trick, although others preferred JT’s Mild BBQ Sauce.

Best brisket in the area! JT wilder is consistently great. The brisket has great flavor, just enough fat, and is always juicy and tender. Great customer service and awesome sauces for the pork, brisket, and chicken.

First off the food is awesome. Quality BBQ is EXTREMELY difficult to find. Look no further you found it. Also you see where and who is making the BBQ which is an added thing that you dont always get at restaurants. Once you chat with the owners.. You can see why the food is so dang good. They cook with love and passion and it clearly comes through in the warmth of the owners as well as in the food. Love this place and wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars. Great experience. Great customer service and great FOOD!

I’ve driven by this place for years and never stopped in until today. Staff were nice and prices reasonable. I got the brisket and it was okay. I think it needed more seasoning for my preference. Also I prefer my brisket a bit more smokey and a bit less juicy as I like the textured bits. I think it needs a bit longer smoke as the ring was a little lacking. That said, sauce was great! Great flavor. A little tweaking on the meat and this place has serious potential.

Brisket is good but service not so much. When I arrived they were at the end of a batch of brisket and made my sandwiches cold, even though a fresh tray of brisket came out right as I was standing there, before they assembled the sandwiches. I also ordered mac and cheese and they scraped the burnt bottom of the tray and gave it to me almost cold.
