Fresh-made subs and sides that redefine delicious! JRECK Subs was founded in 1967 when five Northern New York schoolteachers started selling submarine sandwiches out of an old, converted school bus. Their names were Jerry Haley, Robert Martin, Ellis Martin, Charles Lehman, and Keith Waltz. And, if you take the first letter of each of their names and put them together, you get the word, “JRECK.” Since then, JRECK subs stores have opened up throughout New York State and continue to offer the best-tasting subs around. Each JRECK Subs store is locally owned and operated by dedicated franchisees who honor our past by retaining a foundational engagement of support with educators, schools and other organizations in the Watertown area.

Visiting my hometown. Jreck Subs are a staple. Mill Street is a great location as well as a nice clean place to eat. The two workers that waited on me and my nephew did a great job. They were friendly and made great subs. Thank you for good food and great service!!

Staff was amazing, food was delicious! I love there ham and cheese lettuce tomato oil and extra shakers and an order of cheese sticks. 2 cheese sticks fit perfectly on a half sub on the tomatoes in the middle and perfectly fill the middle of the sub. My favorite! Also try it with popcorn chicken for a chicken salad sub experience! Oh and yes the have Mt Dew! Boom!

I cannot say enough good things about this location!! Neil helped me with an order for a small family gathering and he was spot on about the amount of food that I’d need. He was funny and just a pleasure to work with. He and his staff greeted us with kindness and a smile when we arrived to pick up. They made sure that we had everything that we needed as far a sides, utensils etc. We are not in Watertown very often, but when we are, we will ALWAYS be stopping in to see Neil and his crew. He should seriously be honored in a parade Watertown! He’s your very own national celebrity!

Place is crawling with roaches and the manager is rude as hell to his staff as well as the customers. I didn’t even bother to order. Walked in, heard him yelling about giving the lady whatever it takes to get her out of his f’ing restaurant and saw a roach on the counter. No thanks.
