The food was great! We had the appetizer with cheese plate with bologna and sausage and quite frankly, it was the best one I’ve ever had! The service was pretty decent. We Ren out of drinks several times and had to hunt down some silverware. We were seated 2 tables away from what we later learned was the live entertainment for the night and we couldn’t even carry on a conversation at the table. Next time we’ll ask to be seated away from that area. Overall, I would recommend this place. I know I’ll be back!

We stopped by to grab some food. We got a large catfish basket w/ sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries looked burned and they gave us 4 thin strips of catfish for $22. Even our hush puppies were burnt to a crisp. My 1st and my last time going. High cost food and it was not what I expected at all so disappointed.

I’m not sure what this place is rated over 4 stars. Way overpriced for what you get. It’s like they wanna cater to the hoity toity crowd but the presentation, quality, and service is lacking. The fish special was ok but the sides were sub par. The “pasta salad” was some angel hair pasta with a few olive pieces, onions, and Italian dressing. The sweet potato fries were soggy. A friend’s “fried shrimp” came out looking like hush puppies. Totally unable to see them as fried shrimp.

It was delicious! We were seated immediately. Service was great. Food was fantastic. Bloody Mary was excellent. We’ll be back.

Had a craving for a cold fruity drink and a snack. We were quickly greeted by Jess and she suggested I try a “Tipsy Mermaid” not on the menu. Great idea Jess! My husband and I shared appetizers Steak on a stick and the fried crawfish tails both delicious (should have snapped a photo). Will definitely go again and will be looking for Jess!

Fun atmosphere and great band , The Mississippi Queen, steak was cooked perfectly and we had a great time.

The place itself is great. The service was nice. The food was good but heavy. I did have the blackened grouper with a crayfish cream sauce but it was just very rich. The catfish nachos however were AMAZING!

We were anchored out in our boat from Canada. A local ,Charlie and Danah came and met us. Next day they invited us to JP’S for supper . Food was good and the atmosphere was incredible ! Great staff! Great fun!

Great food with cold beer and good music. Service is really attentive as well. I’ve eaten here many times for lunch and it is always good and honestly way more good than I personally can handle. I can’t speak on supper but lunch is amazing
