The restaurant environment is clean and comfortable. Very oriental. Most importantly, the dishes produced in the restaurant are all very tasty. If you want to eat Chinese food. Joy house is definitely recommended. Pork with salted vegetable（梅菜扣肉），Claret its color, shape oval, meat rotten glue, fat but not greasy, thin rather than firewood, mellow taste from others.

For Mother’s Day dinner, we went to a Chinese restaurant in Rocklin that was pretty cute. We shared everything between the three of us but we had ordered Sweet & Sour chicken, chicken chow mein, and 8pc potstickers. Apparently this restaurant gives you free wonton chips for your table which I have never seen done before but was a huge plus in my book. It was accompanied with a sweet sauce. The food was really good and definitely filling enough for 3 people to split 2 dishes and an appetizer. The server was extremely nice and towards the end of our meal, an employee came out and gave us carnations for Mother’s Day. If you are in the Rocklin area, I highly recommend giving Joy House a try.

Had a great meal at Joy House. Everything was really good, I ordered the Tangerine Chicken and it was amazing. The prices were reasonable and although the portions looked small when they first came out they were more than enough. The flavors were authentic and the ingredients seemed fresh as though they were shopped local. I will definitely return and check out other items on the menu.

I tried this restaurant for the first time as a pick-up order Saturday night. All of the positive reviews encouraged me to give them a try. I placed my order through their online portal at 7 pm. They told me it would be 40 minutes until my food would be ready. I was shocked. I have never had to wait 40 minutes for Chinese food. I assumed they must be really busy. I got to the restaurant at 7:35. There was only 1 table occupied. My food was ready at 7:45, but I was told they had made me sweet and sour pork instead of chicken. They asked if I would be okay taking that or if I wanted to wait for them to remake the dish. I waited. I didn’t want pork. I finally left the restaurant at 8 pm – 1 hour for take-out Chinese food. It got home, and we dug in. The dishes were not very appetizing and didn’t meet my expectations based on the menu. I fried rice was mushy and uneven in the little seasoning that was present. There was almost no meat in the sweet and sour chicken. For the cashew chicken, the variety of vegetables really wasn’t there – it was filled with celery and seasoned with jalapeño. I won’t be going back here.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place out, but they are closed on Sundays. We managed to dine here just last Saturday though and we were so pleased Miranda sat us promptly. The interior decor was nice and modern and the restaurant is clean. No sticky floors and tables, and the place is well lit with natural lighting. We liked the hot and sour soup that was offered to us while we waited for our order of Mongolian Beef and Braised Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. The Mongolian Beef reminded me of the one in the PF Chang’s menu. I like that preparation — not spicy, lots of green onions, and no starchy sauce — delicious! The braised eggplants were just lovely. Thank you Chefs David and Amie, and Miranda for the dining experience.

Great taste, comfort environment, fantastic service. Very decent America Chinese food mix a bit authentic Chinese food. Fried rice is so good my 4 year old had two plates!! Scallop and fish dish is fully loaded with high quality giant scallop!! I will be back

Beautiful decor. Smells good inside. Great choices and different options than usual. Food we got was well prepared. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Lots of chili pods we weren’t expecting…ASK ABOUT SPICE LEVELS. We could handle it, but our guests had a hard time.

We ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight and we’re so happy we found an authentic Chinese restaurant in Rocklin! The black pepper beef, Szechuan eggplant and jelly noodles were legit and tasty. We look forward to coming here again!
