We always order take out and it’s fresh and delicious! I’ve never done the buffet, but when you order take-out it is always ready in 10~15 minutes, no matter how big the order is. The price is extremely reasonable and the portion sizes will have you eating leftovers for days!!

The food is wonderful. Everything delicious. Best egg drop soup anywhere. Atmosphere is bland at best. They need pictures on the walls and nice music playing. If they spruced up the ambience, I’d give this place 4 and a half stars.

We love Joy Garden!! It is nothing fancy but the food is always good and the owners give good one on one service. I have been eating here long enough to watch their son go from a boy doing homework to a fine young man that is running the front of the house! The buffet is not huge, but it will have something for you and it will be good and fresh!! The cost is definitely reasonable!!

Hands down the best Chinese buffet! Joy Garden is locally owned and operated by a very nice family that is part of the Baldwin City community. I have traveled many places and tried different buffets and Chinese food in general and this will always be my #1 in my heart of best one to eat at.

Joy Garden is AMAZING, in my opinion. Tip: You can get shrimp for dinner. The Buffet is around 8 dollars for all you can eat, can it get any better? You should MOST DEFINITELY eat here.

One of our favorite local Chinese Restaurant. Good portion sizes & free items if you spend enough. They do have a buffet but we usually just order food to go. Our favs lemon chicken /sweet & sour chicken, moo shu beef, crab Rangoon, chicken on a stick & egg rolls. Finding parking in downtown Baldwin can be a challenge if you go during lunchtime it supper time.

The menu is limited, but it has good choices. However, I am allergic to msg…monosodium glutamate, and, as it turns out all of their meats have msg in them. I was so violently ill from their pork fried rice…within minutes after eating it. If you’re not allergic I definitely recommend this place. They’re very nice people.

Good food, great price, they don’t have a lot of selections though, could use more. Service wasn’t all that great though, they stare at you constantly until you pay and leave. Kind of like they don’t want people in lol, but overall it is a nice clean place.

Food was great for the price. Not gonna get better quality Chinese food for their price, but the service wasn’t all that great. They stand over you every second and stare as if they wish for you to leave and not eat all their food. Haha, funny but if you hate getting stared at while you eat, this isn’t the place for you.
