We had a wonderful lunch here and look forward to coming back for dinner! We are all about supporting a local, family-run place and Tripp and family are awesome! It’s such a unique, inviting space with creative offerings. The atmosphere is one where you feel like you just want to hang out for a long time. They are also VERY knowledgeable and good at dietary modifications! We will be back for sure! ❤️

Service was great. The dining area was big and open with a funky dining area that’s sort of curtained off. It’s a great space. But the food was literally (not exaggerating) grocery store food. My kid works at a grocery store and he could identify the items by brand name. For example the charcuterie board included things you can get from the nearby Safeway. It tasted fine but not what I expect at a restaurant. They’re just starting out, so maybe that will improve.

Decided tonight we would check out this Restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and easy going. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed in our dishes we ordered. I ordered Medium Rare Ribeye it came out Medium Well I was also supposed to have Roasted potatoes but only received rice because they were out of potatoes? Like wise for my Husband he ordered the Peruvian Chicken which was also supposed to have roasted potatoes but they didn’t have any. Both dishes had good flavor and we finished both of them. We will probably try them out again soon

SUCH a hidden gem. A trifecta of great-tasting food, amazing service from Trip and his team, and great views of the lake and mountains from the patio. There isn’t anything I’ve tried here that I haven’t absolutely loved. Journeys End also has specials every night while keeping a small menu. You have to try the saltado, but everything there is delicious. It’s evident that Trip truly cares about the quality and taste of food, and he’s also open to ideas for specials and even events! He always takes time to talk to his customers even when it’s so busy. I’m so glad to have found this place and will be a lifelong customer. They’ve recently also hosted a BBQ pop up and their food is amazing too. They are also very accommodating of food allergies or special diets.

Located across from Palmer Lake this warm and inviting gem lived up to our expectations. We ordered the Valentines Day specials. The lamb chops were the best I have had in a long time. Steak & Lobster perfectly cooked, prime rib flavorful and tender, chicken with a delicious sauce. We were happy.

New and learning…the location is stunning with views of Palmer Lake and trains chugging by. Super friendly owner Tripp shared his family’s history in the area, moving home to Palmer Lake from TX to open a business, lamenting the inflated home prices that list for $200,000 and sell for $600,000, and the need for staff who can’t afford to live here. But, I digress! A limited menu of diverse offerings, and Italian night, so hubby ordered the spaghetti and meatball special and I ordered the BLT salad. Happy hour from 4-6 provided $1 off wines, wells, and drafts. The spaghetti was actually spaghetti with meat sauce (not balls), and my husband said it was more of what you would think of as Midwestern spaghetti. Definitely a homemade sauce with green peppers and carrots in it and barely any garlic flavor was served with garlic bread and potatoes, and a great side salad. My salad was mostly iceberg lettuce with chopped bacon, tomatoes, and when I reminded them, some mashed avocado. Honestly, not to be mean, but it was just okay. I think I would like to come here and enjoy the deck seating overlooking the lake, and maybe some happy hour drinks. The staff was so nice that I have to give them four stars, but the food was just okay. Eclectic decor gives a homey feel, but the deck is definitely a winner!
