Was craving Mexican food so I decided to try this place because the restaurant I usually order from opens at 5:30pm. I ordered the enchiladas and was shocked when I found tiny bone and veiny chicken pieces!! WHY DONT THEY USE BONELESS CHICKEN BREAST? (WHITE MEAT ONLY) there would never be a problem if they use white meat instead they use disgusting dark meat (thighs) NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

We were at the pop up beer garden across the street. I ordered guacamole and chips to share with another couple. When she showed me the size I immediately doubled the order. The guac was excellent! The chips were disappointing. Thin, obviously not house made (not a problem by itself). Quantities were small. We were planning to get entrees later but, based on the apps, went somewhere else.

Great food. Great options. Great staff. The one thing I would complain about is the acoustics in the restaurant. I suspect it is from all the hard surfaces and right angles these surfaces form making sound bounce around so much but it is uncomfortably noisy in there and even difficult to hear someone who’s seated right across from you. Mind you, this is from the place only being a third or so full. Hanging some tapestries or sound absorbing padding on the walls would mitigate this.

I come here a lot mostly out of convenience but I’ll be the first to admit that whereas I used to like the quality of the the food, it’s taken a real nosedive. Typically I’ll get a burrito or Tacos Tonatico, but usually because I’m hungry and want something quick and cheap. The tacos used to be doubled up corn flour tortillas and now they’ve switched to single, which falls apart quickly. The veggie tacos come with… carrots and zucchini?? And it’s partly boiled, which makes for a crunchy / mushy experience. The pork is hit or miss (currently giving mystery texture as I chew), and flavor is lacking. It’s disappointing to see how poor the quality has gotten – nevermind the service. Although it’s fast and friendly, it’s inaccurate enough times that I wonder what the disconnect is between the front of the house and the kitchen that’s 2 feet away. Can’t recommend unless you’re desperately hungry.

Stopped in for takeout lunch and got the mole enchiladas and the torta michoacán. Both were delicious but the enchiladas were a standout — smoky, rich sauce and tender chicken. Highly recommend!

Everything was delicious and so fresh tasting. We ordered enchiladas verdes, torta norteña, torta california(added rice, beans to these), tortilla soup(has a little bit of spice to it-not too strong though), churros and sopapillas from dessert menu. We will be going back again and for pozole too. Everything was terrific. It was all rich, refreshing with good flavor and I kinda felt like I was back in Mexico. This is one of the best places I’ve tried during this whole past 6 months and will be returning for sure. The restaurant looks very cute inside but we did a very easy order online and pickup.

Great place! They have both meat and vegan options. I tried the vegan “carne asada” tacos and was not disappointed! Fresh authentic corn tortillas and perfectly seasoned fillings. The verde sauce was tasty.
