Amazing! One of us got the steak nachos and we all 3 could have split it. Delicious! The fajita quesadilla was really good too. Kid loved the chicken strips and fries. It was a really fun atmosphere. Great service. We will definitely be back. Worth the 35 minute drive for us. Jose himself was there, and super sweet guy. Excited for him and his success.

I am here for a business trip with my wife. It was ok for being in a small town, however my wife’s taco salad tasted like they put chili seasoning on the meat and didn’t put no onions or guacamole in the salad. My chimichanga was better then I thought, just no crunch to the chimichanga. Being from a big city I would have expected more from a small town in the taste department. The waiter was nice but misunderstood when we wanted to pay separately, my wife said to keep the change and I said I needed change he kept the change which was $6, but not the point. I did not get the choice to give it to him or not. I probably would have anyway.

Jose’s is a delightful addition to Sauk City. The staff are very friendly and the food was delicious! Everyone loved their meals. The manager even came over and gave us a free drink as a thank you. We will be back for sure!

One word…. deeeelicious! We enjoyed every part of our meal. The chips were brought to the table perfectly warmed. One of the dipping sauces with the chips was so good- I’ve never had anything like it. The guac was good too.. not too salty like some restaurants make it. The carnita meat was cooked to perfection… so tender and yummy!! We also noticed how great all the team members were! They were very hard workers and helped each other out. Our waiter was so friendly!! We live over an hour away but we definitely want to come back. Thank you Jose’s for a great meal and great experience/service!

Ordered pick up – very disappointed in quality and taste of their food. Very bland, cheap ingredients, worst fajitas I’ve EVER had. Had to go back because the order was incomplete too (despite being overpriced). Go there and see for yourself… hate to leave 1 star reviews and 2 stars is too generous for this place.

Absolutely gorgeous building! The artwork makes the atmosphere so inviting and beautiful! Our party of 3 came in on a Saturday night and were able to get a comfy little half booth in a corner, it was perfect. It was our first time there and we wanted to get some things to nibble on while we had some drinks, and then get some food to go. Our server’s name was Jefferson and he was amazing! So kind, patient and accommodating! He totally made the experience top notch, and I am picky about service, lol. The food and drinks were superb, I actually did a little happy dance in my seat. I recommend a peaceful Mango margarita on the rocks and a chicken Chile relents! If you want mexican food and a great time, this is where you want to go! 10/10 coming back for more!
