Do yourself a favor and call in order at least 30 minutes before cause everything is cooked to order unless you wanna wait nearly 40 minutes or longer cause there’s usually a line in the drive thru and inside. The seasoning is excellent but quite salty if you have high blood pressure or need to limit your salt intake. Maybe you can request ‘light seasoning’. And they were out of the crawfish cream sauce needed to make the ‘Swamp Pasta’ so I ended up getting the ‘Mariah Special’. As a result I’d also advise to call order in as early as possible or be the first one there as they may or may not have what you initially want to order. Be sure to inquire about the daily specials before ordering as they are not posted on menu but may be posted on their Facebook page.

The Fried Chicken Festival was this weekend and so you all know ya girl had to slide through. There were so many restaurants their from WhoDats, McHardys’, District Donuts and sooo much more. So I decided to stand in the longest line just to get some @Josephineskitchen from Jackson, MS. I will say these were some goood wings. I got half Jacktown sticky wings and half spicy buffalo ranch wings. I honestly like the sticky wings better just because it more tossed in sauce. And the buffalo was like a little drizzle. 8 pieces for 10$ wasn’t bad. And the wings big which made it worth it. Overall I would give these wings 9/10. So the next time you in Jackson, MS make sure you stop at this black owned restaurant.

First and last time going. Food was delicious, but took entirely too long to get and service was terrible. Ordered around 11:30/12. They called us right back and stated a lot Items were unavailable so we happily said they could be changed. Was told wait time would be a little over 30 minutes. We assumed because what going on right now in the world, 30/45 maybe. Food was not ready until about 3:30. That was ridiculous, and we Spent over $80. If you can’t handle large orders don’t take them and say 30 minutes when it’ll Be almost three hours. More organized and better customer service. Family was in town for a week from far far away and wanted to try, was highly disappointed. We try to support but then it results in this.

I had the Henny Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious. The sauce is amazing. It does have a little kick to it, but it’s not too hot. The sandwich was pretty big and it also came with a side of fries. Honestly the portion is quite generous for $5.00. I can go on and on about this sandwich. It’s definitely worth every cent. I must say that the wait was a bit long, but after I tasted the sandwich, I see why. I was quoted 20 minutes, but it took about 40-45 minutes. Not too bad, but when you have only an hour for lunch, that doesn’t leave much time to eat.

The prices were terribly high it said $12.99 on the menu for a 8 pc wing and fries but once she told me the total she said $17+ I told her this menu say 12.99 she said they’re $15.99 plus tax that was absolutely ridiculous for an 8 pc with just a fry no drink no dessert or anything. Never will I.

Just stopped through Jackson Mississippi to find Josephine’s Restaurant and try her food. The young lady had great customer service and was very polite. I ordered the Henny chicken sandwich, an order of Henny chicken wings, and a regular chicken sandwich. All came with seasoned fries. The food was fresh and steaming hot and tasted delicious. Whenever I come though Jackson Mississippi again I will definitely try some of their other items. My family and I truly enjoyed.
