I enjoy the meals I buy here because they are flavorful and fresh, the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is small but always clean and the counter staff is friendly. Although food is ready made, call ahead to make sure they have a specific item you want because sometimes they run out or only make certain dishes on certain days. There is one step up to enter, so they’re not handicap accessible and there is metered street parking.

Small place with amazing food. My go-to here is the Mondongo, although its not available everyday, as youll probably find with some of their dishes. However, you can definitely always find something delicious, I tried the Chivo here and it was fantastic.

The price for the food was not bad. I ordered the roasted pork(pernil) with rice and beans, boiled yuca a side of beans and deep fried pork(chicharron).The good was the side of beans and fried pork Unfortunately I did not like the pernil it had a slightly funny taste to it I didn’t even finish it. The rice wasn’t bad but the yuca was dry and had little to no flavor. So overall not a bad place I’m sure the food is amazing right out of the oven but it’s at least a good place to try out.

Good food good people but there is this light skin lady that comes in from time to time to eat n she uses the same fork she eats with to dig in the pots of food for sale when she wants more or wants to try something. She is tall short hair n last time she came she had a doobie on, made me not ever want to come back !
