Love this place! The food, atmosphere, staff is all top notch. The Sunday brunch with a watermelon mimosa is the best! I will be back for the Blue Plate lunches for sure too! I may check out the holiday cooking too just to save some time

First visit for myself with my parents who’ve been before. Great spot! I’ll be back! I got a bloody Mary and crawfish Benedict. Wasn’t the best I’ve had but still good. My parents enjoyed both of their meals. Excellent service by Cassie!

First time visiting and just wanted to try something new. It was ok. I had the patty melt. Burger had little to no seasoning, no sauce comes on the melt so you’ll have to ask for mayo, and it barley had any cheese. Like that they have actual potatoes for fries but were a bit soggy. Would like to try some of their breakfast food items the next visit but as far as lunch I think I’m good. This is just MY personal opinion but I say try and see for yourselves

we had an amazing morning here today! Cassie was AMAZING and so helpful as this was our 1st trip here! she was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive without feeling like she was hovering over us ❤️ the grits were the BEST I’ve ever had! thanks for the experience, we Will be Back Soon!

Terrible food I told them well done they gave me undercooked food. Sadly I didn’t notice until I got half way finished with the first patty. You wont get my business anymore. I am very dissatisfied and utterly disappointed in this place. The fries are very stale, hard, and not fresh.

The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. I had the chicken and waffles, bananas foster. It was so thick that I could chew the sugar. We also had a picture of mimosa which came hot and took a while. The omelets were okay and the grits for the shrimp and grits were runny. My daughter had them. She said the taste was ok with the Baggett it came with but they were too runny to enjoy. My husband had a burger. The fries came out cold, they were replaced but the burger was overall good.

Love this Diner. Customer service is 5 stars everyone is so cordial and friendly. The breakfast was super good. Omelets, pancakes, grits. Another day we went – My husband loved the fried green tomatoes but I thought they had too thick of crust that took away from the flavor of the tomatoes. The shrimp pasta was just ok. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich that was super good.

Don’t think we’ll be back. We walked in and waited a while to be seated because everyone was standing in the back talking and didn’t notice we had come in. Someone finally got the guys attention, and he seated us. There were only 2 other tables, we should have taken that as an indication of things to come but didn’t. It took a while to get our drinks, and we had to ask for straws. My daughter’s cup had lipstick on it, and we had to ask for my brothers drink twice. The appetizers took a while to come out, but they weren’t bad. They came out fresh, and the serving size of the fried pickels were huge. The meals took a long time too, but they finally came. My sisters food came out without the fruit cup. The server said it didn’t come with anything even though my mom had the same thing, and hers came with a side. The server came back 5 min later with a cup of old dried up fruit that tasted like it had been sitting in a dirty refrigerator for a while. My sons food tasted burnt. My ribeye Benedict was ice cold, eggs were overcooked, the steak was so overdone it was crunchy, and it had been sitting so long the sauce on it was dried. The server said they would remake it, she came back 15 min later with the same food only dryer, I asked if it was the same food, and she said yes they told her to just put it in the microwave. I told her just to take it and that I just wouldn’t eat. Everyone’s grits were so dry they came out the shape of the bowl. The only food really woth eating were the pancakes, chicken strips. Our drinks were constantly empty, and it took forever to get our check. I would understand the wait for everything if they were busy, but like I said, there were only 2 other tables, and they both had different servers. Overall, we were very disappointed, especially with all the good reviews.
