The food is great, Donkatsu is really crispy and juicy. Soba is firm and good. However, I did not expect that the dipping sauce for soba a bit too sweet for me. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal. 🙂

this place is seriously a hidden gem; came with my friends to eat dinner and ordered the curry chicken katsu and soba. the seasoning in the katsu was perfect; the outside crust was super crispy while the chicken inside was juicy. the selling point was the katsu sauce, matched well with the chicken katsu. the soba noodles were perfectly cooked too. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants eat pretty good katsu in oc!

so ever since covid i’ve been ordering from here frequently and today there was a piece of hair stuck underneath my katsu…very disappointing….used to be 5 stars…..its a shame really….no matter how the food tastes finding hair left and right is kinda disturbing no? not too sure if i would order from here again.

This was my first time trying Joonkatsu! I was in the area and wanted an easy bite for lunch. I got the House Katsu (pork). It was so good! I been to Japan so I’ve eaten a lot of katsu sandos in my time. The meat was tender and the sides was flavorful. I ordered on a screen in the restaurant and my katsu was ready in about 5 minutes, which was very fast for a Saturday afternoon! Super delicious and I can’t wait to go back. Parking was easy, it’s in a plaza with tons of spots.
