My husband and I are never disappointed with their food nor services. Our last visit we dine in for our lunch, surprisingly it was empty around 1pm. I thought I forgot to update myself on their business hours. The waiter remembered us and quickly assisted us to a table. Food came out quick and delicious. We ordered their pancake, oyster soft tofu soup, and a bulgogi rice. No complaints. Definitely will return again, especially this is where my husband and I ate dinner on our first date.

After a long absence since 2015, I recently revisited this Korean restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find that it has retained its original charm and cleanliness. As I entered through the side door from the parking lot, I was greeted by various artifacts reminiscent of the Joseon era, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance. Interestingly, they still have a payphone on the wall near the bathroom, which brought back nostalgic memories. The food itself was fantastic, and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I opted for the oyster tofu soup with a mild spice level, but it turned out to be quite mild indeed. If you prefer spicier fare, I recommend ordering it at a medium level of spiciness. Additionally, I ordered the stir-fried squid, which was a delightful combination of sweetness and tanginess. The galbi also had a subtle hint of sweetness, enhancing its overall flavor.

maybe a bit more expensive than usual prices but the food is bomb. I love the soon dubu and the japchae. I will say that the banchan can be very vinegary but I came for the main meals do I didn’t mind

I cannot say enough about how great this restaurant is. I have been dining here for over 10 years and have always received the best and kindest service, and the food is always top notch. Very nice authentic feeling setting with plenty of seating. Food is as authentic and tasty as you could ask for. This place should no longer be a secret – the absolute best wings in the city hands down! Order the soon du bu for a unique eating experience with delicious pickled sides. I could go on and on for days, but in short YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE!!! Love them!

My friends took me here and fell in love with this place immediately! Very authentic Korean food. The best Soft tofu soup in Philly. We kept asking for the appetizers, which are all awesome. The service there are super good and prices are affordable.

One of my favorite food spots in Philadelphia. I come here often with family and friends and I’ve never heard or had a complaint. Excellent service and absolutely delicious food. My wife and I always give praise to this place. I recommend the spicy soup to start, with different variations and levels of spice, this is a meal that is sure to please. The traditional decor on the interior provides a cozy and comfortable atmosphere to dine and enjoy anytime! Beef #5, please!

This place has great dishes that they bring out for free. Great value on meals, and the best soft tofu soup in Philly. Very kid friendly. Quick service and always nice staff.

The best spicy tofu soup you’ll ever have. Have tried about 20 other Korean restaurants that make it and none of them are on par with this place.

Honestly, I am not a tofu fan. As such, the idea of going to a tofu soup place was not a high priority. After my visit, I’m glad I fit it in and would happily go back again!
