The girl that helped me with my reservation was great, from there everything was amazing. I tried doing a surprise birthday dinner for my fiance, and the dinner was for 4, but I asked her if she can have them present it as if it was for 2. We got seated, and got our drinks and bread basket. The little garlic buns are so good. Long and behold, a little while later our 2 friends join us and he was surprised. Our friends brought a cake, which they brought out to the table after dinner. Very very friendly staff!! Drinks were also good .

I recently had an awful experience at Jonathan’s Restaurant after being a regular customer for over four years. For four years I’ve eaten lobster at Jonathans during lobster bake season on Wednesdays or Friday nights and have brought friends with me. The last time I was at Jonathans on a Friday night, the lobster was prepared terribly and I told the server. He was rude and took the whole plate away from me and brought the manager over who was even more rude. He insisted it was prepared the way it’s always been and I told him I’ve been eating lobster there for four years and it never tasted this way. He arrogantly said four years, I’ve never saw you here. When I responded ask the hostesses and one of the nicest servers, Nicole, he walked away from me. I told one of the co owners about my experience. He didn’t even look at me and didn’t respond. Every restaurant I’ve eaten at, especially if a long time customer, will make every effort to right the situation. The customer service by the waiter, manager and co-owner was the worst ever experienced. Nicole, one of the servers, is professional, friendly. If she were there that night, I am sure she would have resolved the issue. The food is fair, the lobsters were delicious and the customer service is awful!

I had Pre-Mother’s Day dinner at Jonathan’s Restaurant and it was excellent. The Short Ribs Empanadas was tender and the crust nice and flaky. The Bourbon Glazed Pork Chop was also tender and very tasty and the sauce delicious. The sweet potatoes, root vegetables and dessert samplers was delicious. I topped it off with the Pomegranate Martini and it was so good I have a second one. This is my second visit and will definitely return. I also took photos of the other meals which was very good as well.

This place is very nice for any type of occasion. I found it to be very warm and inviting and our waitress was very kind and patient. The food was excellent, I’ve never had Fettuccine Alfredo with vegetables mixed in and it was excellent. The food was a very decent size for the price. I would definitely recommend!
