Everything was amazing. I came with my family to Florida we were looking for delicious food and definitely found it! The employees were all extremely nice and made us feel at home. The food was excellent but the service was above and beyond. I absolutely recommend this place. It’s great.

Couldn’t wait to come to Florida again to visit this Jamaican restaurant Once again they delivered. The stewed red snapper was the best that I’ve had in a long time. They are my favorite place to visit every year! Wish you guys were in NC.

First time ordering food from Jonae’s. The atmosphere was really nice. Everyone was very pleasant. Other than that I have say the food was not what I expected. I ordered an oxtail with rice and peas and brown stew chicken. The oxtail was bland and not made the way traditional oxtail is normally made. I never even got to try the brown stew chicken because I got jerk chicken instead. Which was okay, but was definitely not want I wanted.

Their Reggae Jerk Chicken has to be some of the best jerk chicken in the state. The whole meal with plantains and cabbage was absolutely delicious. I have already been back about 4 times in one week. If you want some out of this world finger licking good chicken you got to visit Jonae’s Island Twist.

This was my first time ordering and I’m so glad I chose this place to have lunch. I ordered the Jerk Chicken with the rice and cabbage and OMG DELICIOUS. I also ordered the Chicken with Brown chicken stew absolutely delicious I love both both. The food was delicious, fresh and hot with so much flavor. Will be coming back soon. Oh I forgot to mention that I arrived before they open but the young lady was nice enough to let me in so that I could take my time viewing the menu. The customer service was awesome and very professional.

If I could give a zero I would. I presented my self with honesty and integrity not trying to get over on anyone. Just being completely honest informing the so called manager Renee that my ox tail had sooo much fat on it. I told her the food was tasty, outside of the Mac n cheese not being made properly and the beef Pattie’s being super crispy, dry and hard. She acted as though she wanted to help and I told her I was not looking for financial compensation but can they do something about my experience. She tried the defensive role, she tried comparing herself to other locations without thoroughly listening!! I told her I am from up north , Guyanese culture previously had Jamaican cuisine and plenty of other cultures and she tried to insult my intelligence. As I tried to explain I have never paid $20 plus for a oxtail entree ever then receive mainly fat! The point is the cost and quality don’t match! That’s the point, it’s not the money it’s the quality. She started off acting like she cared then she tried telling me they remove all of the fat from the oxtail from the distributor! First of all it’s impossible to remove all of the fat from the oxtail!! She tried to tell me the color of fat as if I don’t know the difference between fat and meat!! I told her I was pregnant and did not want to go back and forward, rather than fixing the problem she tried to spend time being defensive.. after spending over $60 plus on food $23 plus per entree and you talk trash!! I will never recommend or support a business like this. She even threatened to report fraud if I dispute the charge for failure to provide proper services. It just shows the amount of ignorance on her part not know anything about business!!! 7 eleven beef Pattie’s taste better than their beef Pattie’s, it taste like frozen beef Pattie’s out of the box! This is a knock off version of Jamaican food!! Don’t waste your money if you know what real Jamaican cuisine taste like!! This is not it!! Skimp, dry and fatty!!

Ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail small plates. The plates were $8 each that’s normally the price for a dinner plate but the food was good. The jerk chicken was real jerk chicken and the oxtails was well seasoned wish it was softer. The meat was hard trying to eat .. oxtail should fall off the bone when you eat it. The rice was flavorless… i needed more gravy because it was just so flavorless.

Tried them on Uber Eats for the first time today for order delivery. The food was made fast and correct to order. I had the brown stew chicken with rice and Peas lunch portion, which also came with Sweet plantains. The rice and Peas were very tasty. I thought the chicken was pretty good. Portions were fair for the price and everything was hot and fresh. I’d order again, but would probably try a different entrée.

While driving around I spotted a Caribbean restaurant called Jonae’s Island Twist. It’s a nice place that offers the typical Jamaican cuisine at reasonable prices. You can get appetizers, breakfast dishes, vegan dishes, main entrees, lunch specials, chef specials, patties, sides, desserts, and much more.
