The universe is good to the Capital Region. A couple folks bought a former halal chicken joint and it’s now a Sene-Gambian restaurant, Jollof Kitchen. They made me lamb domoda AKA peanut butter stew with rice to order, and it was quick, super clean, price is right, very kind staff, and lord have mercy, this food is god tier eats. Run, don’t walk, to go get a meal here!! The dining room is huge, so it could definitely accommodate an event, it has a nice ambiance as well. I personally took my meal to go this time, but next visit I will be dining in just to have a chat with the super friendly staff and enjoy some dancehall music with my delicious meal. The portions are huge; the entrees are enough to share or at least get two meals from. The food is absolutely to die for. I am excited for the future of this restaurant and hope to see the Sene-Gambian menu selection expand! They even have parking out front, and are open late.

Jollof kitchen is a sparkling clean restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The owner and staff and outstanding. The food is fantastic. The best West African food I have ever had in the U.S.

Tried this based on their 5 star rating and they didn’t disappoint. Everything I ordered was 100% fantastic, the prices are extremely reasonable and everyone I referred to this place is in agreement. Everyone should try it. I guarantee once you do, you’ll be hooked for life. I know I am.

Great eats, great prices, always fast and reliable delivery. Best local cheesteak. Terrific kebabs. So handy to be able to get burgers, chicken, and kebabs from the same place.
