Everything we tried was delicious! The food was flavorful and came out quickly. The Cuban tamales and empanadas were my favorite. The portion size is great for the price. Highly recommend the Ropa Viejo-the meat was very tender!

I was super excited to order this meal on DoorDash however my experience was disappointing. First let me start by saying the congris was good. Now here it goes my rice pudding was terrible. I took a bite of rice lump and it was bitter. Maybe the milk was spoiled maybe I got the bottom of the rice pot but either way I had to spit it out unfortunately. I tried the Lechon Asado and was equally disappointed. My pork was hard and lacking flavor. It was dry. I did get a sauce on the side but it did not help. Not wanting to waste my money I tried to eat the meat but it was just not something I would order again. My Yuca was alright. I love yuca and was looking forward to having it prepared a different way. I was disappointed. I hate to leave this review as I was so excited to try JOJO CUBAN CUISINE. Maybe it was the fact that I ordered this on DoorDash not sure but overall my experience with the food was lacking.

I wish I have a better picture, I ate ropa vieja, which is a traditional wish from Cuba, it is shredded beef meat with tomatoes sauce, and of course many other spices that make it unique, the plate comes with rice beans and other thing I forgot the name. But it was delicious, tasty and really good. I will come back to this place. Few Cuban places in Nashville with autentique food and more than just a Cuban sandwich.

Small place but the food is packed with authentic Cuban flavor! Delicious cuban sandwich, extremely nice people. Be prepared to wait a moment for your food, but it will be well worth the wait. Perfection takes time. ❤️

Good Cuban food is hard to find in the south. Not in Nashville because Jojo’s is legit. And it’s not some overpriced “concept” trying to have a new twist on Cuban cooking. They have the traditional, hearty, delicious favorites I grew up on at restaurants and my Abuelita’s house in Miami. Take it from me and try their food.

My mom brought me some beef empanadas from JoJo’s and I knew I had to go back for more! Yesterday, I ordered beef empanadas and Ropa Vieja. Everything was very good from the empanadas to the ropa to the yuca to the congri. There was a small side salad as well (not pictured). They also have this vinegar-y sauce that’s very good. And the caramel flan is yum.
