Nice little place on a main thoroughfare, 142. Very small menu, which is nice. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the hash browns. Coffee was good. Prices are relatively low. The server was very friendly, taking time to converse with customers. The restaurant overlooks some beautiful hills and a dairy farm. Really nice view.

Stopped here on our way to the new Slate Town Brewery in Granville. They are pretty much the only game in town restaurant wise . The dogs were good. The bun was grilled and the hot dog had some snap. The fries were homemade and crispy. The wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. She said it’s contents were good but the wrap was very stale. It was rock hard stale. Otherwise about what you’d expect. Decent diner food.

Co worker suggested we do something for food than the usual, so we ordered out. I use the Reuben sandwich as a way to gauge new eateries. Unfortunately, this didn’t go very well. Fries were soggy as well as the bottom piece of bread, corned beef was tough and as you can see from the picture, the bread surely was “toasted”. Positives were that it was a well built sandwich, plenty of beef and the price wasn’t bad for the amount of food received. May just have to try something different from the menu next time.

The service was great and the food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Johnson’s Cabin for breakfast. Can’t wait to try the lunch menu.

Stopped for lunch. Food was fresh and prepared well. Cheeseburger soup was excellent. Tuna sandwich was piled high with tuna. The Reuben was stuffed and grilled.

This was a great find. My husband and I have passed this restaurant many times and decided to stop in for an early dinner/late lunch. The food was delicious with lots of great specials and good prices. We both had the chicken and biscuts are it was delicious. The owner is really friendly too. This was our first time there but it will definately not be our last. They have great wing specials on Wednesday nights with a variety of flavors too.

Had the fisherman’s dinner of haddock, shrimp and clams. It was cooked perfectly and the waitresses are always so sweet. Love that place.
