We simply LOVE Pizza! The Wife and I live close to this pizzeria, so We wanted to finally try it out. I liked the style and Sausage. My Wife thought it could have used a little more sauce. I kind of agree, but I still thought it was worth 5 stars. Check em out.

We had take out pizza. The crust was good, extra toppings ok. We really didn’t like the crumbled sausage because it was like ground hamburger. But the picture of the chunks of sausage wasn’t appealing either. What about little ‘blobs’ of sausage like most places do. Seems more normal. I won’t get sausage again

Quaint environment and friendly staff. Not a fan of the marina pasta sauce…tastes like canned diced tomatoes. Maybe they forgot to add any spices and cut with stock. Someone may like it but next time I’ll stick with the pizza!

This is the second chance I gave this place, last week ordered a pizza and they got my toppings wrong, ordered spaghetti dinner tonight. Was supposed to come with a salad and I ordered garlic bread to go with it. Got home and no salad to be found and garlic bread was basically buttered toasted bread, no flavor. I’ll stick with the original johns in Munster, I should’ve known better

Great fettuccine Alfredo and homemade garlic bread with marinara. Large portions and good prices. Meat sauce tastes a bit odd, as does the Italian sausage on the pizza. Not sure why, but maybe too much fennel in the sausage. Tried plain cheese pizza and was very good while it was hot. Crust is thin but chewy, which is a nice combo. Great local casual spot with nice lounge atmosphere.

The older woman who was the hostess, her hair, nails and makeup were perfect. BUT, her perfume was horrible! It was so strong and over powering, we could not enjoy our food. IF, we ever go back, it would be take out. NOPE, that smell will always be there.

We were 1 of 2 other tables on a Saturday night. (Should have been 1st clue). Ordered 2 pops & a beer. Pops came, 10 minutes later went to look at bar side waitress was holding my beer talking to a customer. Ordered a beef sandwich, came back to say ” out of beef”. So Ordered chicken parm sandwich. Wings were ok. Pizza had no taste very bland. Took forever to get bill & then forever to get bill taken as they were talking in side room next to us. Was really hoping for better since we were wanting to try for awhile.

First and foremost. They have my beer Mind Haze by Firestone Walker. Second . The crumble sausage is freaking awesome. It’s so very close to the world famous Frank’s pizza in Silvis Illinois. And 3rd I am horrible with names and i already forgot but our waitress she works Thursday and Saturday was awesome. The 4 on atmosphere was static radio station playing. Highly recommend the Mind Haze and pizza

We dined there with my parents who were in from Las Vegas, it was on there list as John’s was and still is a family favorite. 5 stars in every category, John’s and the staff never disappoint!
