If you are seeking a fancy place, this is not for you. If you are like me and appreciate great food with a no frills atmosphere, you’ll love John’s Fried Chicken. The people here are great and the food was awesome. Started out with chicharone, and the skin was sooo crispy. Loved it. Moved on to the percil, slow roasted pork. They are known for the chicken, but the pork was absolutely amazing and very moist. Finished off with the chicken. Very tasty and crispy, could have eaten a lot more was so good. They have many other items on menu other than Fried Chicken. If you need a change of pace and want to support local businesses, come out to John’s, I highly recommend this place.

Moved to the area from NYC recently. I never expected to find that good Dominican cuisine out here. Boy, was i wrong!! Food is delish and fresh!! I especially enjoyed their Chofan

I would’ve given this place a five star but unfortunately there is always this girl who answers the phone who should clearly not be working with the public. Unless you speak her Spanish(yes all countries say different things), I think she’s Colombian or something, she does not understand what you are saying and you have to repeat yourself over and over again. She has no customer service skills, effectively listening to your customers is key, especially when it comes to food! She blames being busy on not hearing what you just asked her. Maybe you shouldn’t be working then. The owner is awesome! And the actual Dominican lady’s that work there are great. Another thing that is super disappointing is how this place is owned by Dominicans yet on Uber eats and door dash they don’t have the traditional Dominican breakfast listed, Mangu con tres golpes? Any Dominican can cook and serve food to the public and they will love the taste, however serving the public properly and having amazing customer service skills on top of the good food is what will have your business continue to strive! God bless you all and I hope this constructive criticism is taken well! The girl has to be retrained or something though!

Tried them for the first time I liked the food the rice with Gandules was soooo good and tasty the lady was very nice ! Very nice service they make you feel welcome and at home ! Deff going to be going back and the empanadas was so fresh
