Most rib joints ruin the meat by way overcooking it. If you like sticky-sweet ribs that fall off the bone, stay home and put some in the crockpot with a bottle of KC Masterpiece. If you like your ribs to have a little chew left in them (the way they should be) and taste so smoky good, with or without sauce, try John’s. The service is also awesome, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. In short, if you don’t enjoy this place, I don’t want to know you.

So the service there was top notch, but heck how can it not be when there was only a few people in there. I went during lunch and was super excited to try this place out as I drive by it a few times a week. Needless to say I probably will not go back as I ordered one of my favorite BBQ treats and it had to be the worst burnt ends I have ever had, plus the baked beans where hardly cooked. The taste of the beans where great, it was just they needed to be cooked more. I am a BBQ fan and was very disappointed. Could have been an off day, who knows.

We were in the midst of a cross country drive and we were looking for a good, local place with friendly people and great food. We weren’t disappointed by John’s. They took the time to get to know us and served us mouth-watering food with a smile. But the best thing of all was that they brought out an old bone for our dog to enjoy. Next time we’re in Denver we’ll make sure to stop in.

Best Pork Sandwich I’ve ever had! Always consistent each time I go there. It is all home made food made fresh and tasty. This barbeque is GOOD. I highly recommend this place. Very reasonable and very good. They are very friendly and have fast service. Oh, and everything else is good too, not just the pork.

I have only tried this once, I orderd 1 pound of beef briskit… 1 pint coleslaw, beans and cheese sticks… I have never had brisket like this, Brisket is sliced thin like roast beef sandwich meet.. when you get it there is waterish juice in the bottom.. the smoke ring is almost non existent… meet tastes like it is boiled to death, then smoked for 10 minutes and set in a bath of warm water wating upon your arrival… There is a hot blonde that works there that gives a good reason to go in but her boyfriend is sitting there making shure nobody would leave with the only good meat in the building. I want to like this place.. really I do… I woud love to have a good bbq close to home but I can just go to brothers… wich has beef ribs and brisket about 89.999% better then this.
