Cute place to sit outside and enjoy seafood. Portions are plentiful. Only thing I didn’t like was once you went to order your food you cannot order everything on the same line. Fried food, steamed, salad are different lines. Other than that it’s a kool place to visit!

Beautiful view and delicious food with reasonable price. There are so many selection to choose from. It’s very comfortable to sit outdoors when the weather is good to enjoy the nice view. Staffs are friendly. Would totally come visit again!

It was a cafeteria type atmosphere. I found it to not be sanitary. I ordered shrimp salad and got cocktail shrimp on lattice with four over sliced tomatoes there was no taste to the dressing. I won’t be going back . Parking was tight.

City Island is our spot for a Seafood Getaway as we travel from Maryland at least once a month. We frequented Johnnies Reef often back in the late 80’s and 90’s and decided to check them out as they were still in business. Still customer friendly and food cooked with great texture. We ordered our favorites fried lobster tails and shrimp. Both were tender, but seemed as though the seasoning was decreased, making the taste somewhat bland. The Pina Colada’s were still amazing and we will return again when we travel back to City Island. Even though the seasoning was a little bland, they still deserve (5) stars.

Quick line, and short wait for the food since all is made in bulk. I got steamed lobster…that was so so good. I recommend this over the fried since it’s healthier. My partner got the steamed snapper, and it looked very good but he said it was just a bit bland in flavor. Needed more seasoning.

Love Johnny’s tartar sauce and fresh crispy fish and shrimp. fast service. Never go wrong with this place. Same taste every time I come here. I bring my own salad sometimes ♀️ nobody said anything yet. Siting outside gives me picnic vibes by the water.
