Worst pizza. Crust and toppings were undercooked. We literally, and I kid you not, had to put the pizza back in the oven before eating and even after it was simply disgusting. Not authentic Italian whatsoever. Better off at Dominoes!

I usually have good pizza but they were rude I wanted my pizza cooked better because it was not cooked all the way and they gave me a refund without telling me. All I asked was for it to be cooked alittle more and the weird Spanish guy had a whole problem for no reason. In his words make sure you ask for your pizza well done terrible service. Best cheese steaks in West Orange! Pizza is delicious too. Very fast delivery. Very friendly. That didn’t rate atmosphere because it’s a small little pizzeria primarily for takeout and delivery.

I was highly disappointed in my meal. The garlic knots were tiny and dry. I was hoping for the pizza to taste better as I don’t like wasting my money or throwing out food but sadly it seems like they use the same dough for the pizza as well, the crust was also dry so wasn’t surprised my pizza had that cardboard taste when I took my first bite.

For everyone that put this place under 5 stars or 1 star let me tell you about my experience and how the pizzeria got it’s new owner. Johnny’s pizzeria has been around west orange for a long time until frank decided to sell the place to someone. One customer was interested about buying the place and it ended up being sold! Then the new owner was Wilfredo Palta. Wilfredo Palta was a kind person who loved owning a business. He was dedicated to his new business and wanted everyone to see how nice he makes pizza. He ended up getting some employees to help out. He ended up becoming one of top ten’s best pizzerias in west orange. He was really proud of his accomplishment. He owned the place for 4 years and has great customer service also I am related to the current owner!
