I ordered takeout, picked it up and went to the place where I was dog sitting. Upon opening the box(that I should have checked before leaving the drive through), I was greeted with a pizza that looked like it had been in one of those Domino’s pizza commercials where the driver does everything but run over the pizza! It was originally made very poorly and was so thin there was hardly any crust. When I tried to pick up a piece, it just tore up. So I decided that I would call and ask for a replacement.

This is the party pizza I picked up last night and because I live all the way out in Eros and did not order the pizza until 10pm and they close at 11pm, there was no way I could have brought this back to exchange it for another one by closing time.

This was the first time in a long time I stopped by this one. Of all the Johnny’s in West Monroe this one now ranks 1 star. It used to be a very good one, however the two teens behind the counter are way more concerned about not being here then handling my order. Zero customer service skills. I am an ex manager of a local restaurant and these two would never have made the cut under my watch.

I like to put a placeholder on restaurants I visit so I can review them properly when I return home. Johnny’s had an excellent pizza. It came out hot and made to order. Crust was fantastic. However, there were a few things that weren’t quite up to expectations. First, we felt like nobody apparently dines in at this location. The crew seemed surprised that we didn’t order to go. Also, the Google description indicates they sell beer. We discovered this was not the case. I do love me a pizza with beer. Secondly, there was one fork available in the dispenser by the napkins. When I asked for an additional fork, I was given a plastic “spork”. Lastly, the salt shaker was empty, and we had to look around for another table that had salt as well Parmesan cheese. All in all, delicious pizza, but I suggest you get it to go, or delivery.

I grew up eating pizza at the Original Johnny’s across from then NLU. It had been 12 years since my last trip home, and this was the one thing I had to have. Same awesome taste, same fantastic crust, no matter which location you visit. Can’t you please bring one to Jacksonville, FL?

The one on Warren didn’t even want to take my order said that the one off Wallace was closer. I have been eating at the one on Warren for 3 years! Bet it will be the Wallace location a big tip that moment forward forever. FYI it’s not closer to my house. Why that mattered that day after years of ordering I DON’T KNOW. DON’T CARE NOW.
