I reached my last straw with johnnys pizza. I been to several locations and finally found this one who had better service in the past but that’s now long gone. No lunch today again. This Johnny’s location is the best. Food is always fresh and very good! Every time I go back home to visit, this is truthfully my first stop. 30 minutes before I make it in town, I’m placing my order online. By the time I make it, it’s ready for consumption!!!

My family and I come here to enjoy the buffet and we try our best to keep the plates stacked and put to the side for the workers to pick up. One particular busboy kept mentioning to us about how no one ever leaves him tips; it felt like he was trying to make us feel sorry for him. I don’t mind tipping, but to be told this a couple times during our visit when we are trying to enjoy our meal is a bit unpleasant. We have always tipped on deliveries from here and when we order food. If this keeps happening, we will go to a different location.

This one is very hit-or-miss. I’ve ordered delivery and gotten it piping hot in 25-35 minutes. I’ve also had room temperature pizza delivered 75+ minutes after I ordered it. It seems to be inching more towards the excessively long timeframe over the last year, though.

It’s a local favorite, but having traveled in my job the last 30 years, I’ve had better. This is rather bland: no oregano, no basil, no thyme, crust tastes like it is made from Bisquick ™. Definitely not artisan style like I get in Little Rock and Shreveport. First time I’ve eaten at 18th St location after it’s move from around the corner on McKeen. Thought I should give it a try. Had their buffet. Pizza is OK in general, but all looked alike. Hard to determine what was what. Surprised at BBQ sauce pizza. Spit it out. Veggie pizza OK. Pep pizza OK. Not a fan of their sausage pizza. Place is clean. Staff friendly and cordial. Salad bar could stand to have shredded carrots, bell peppers, shredded onions, diced celery on it. Restroom was clean. Great pizza..! My family and I always have a great experience at Johnny’s. The little ones enjoy seeing the fresh from the oven pizza deliverd to our usual table. One can’t go wrong at Johnny’s, from the cheese pizza to the sweep the kitchen. I have been coming to Johnny’s for nearly 40 years and still think it is one of the best pizzzas around.
