Your prices went from reasonable to “bend over” within 2 years. It’s not right. $18.00 for a steak & cheese wrap?!? $14.00 for some chicken tenders that include nothing else?! That’s just wrong. Do better. Otherwise MANY of us won’t be back. A lot of ppl are talking about how ridiculous you’ve become. We understand the costs went up for what you order but this isn’t even ethical.

Johnny’s is a nice clean place, the people are super friendly and nice, the food however is meh… it’s typical of really any Greek pizza place in the US, meaning it’s ok for late night drunken muching, but not good by any accounts. Unfortunately in this area of CT this is one of the better food sources. If you really want great food drive the extra 20 minutes to Rhode Island. But if you’re in the area and hungry this food isn’t horrible. Stay away from the fish n chips tho. As a line cook who literally did fish n chips every Wednesday and Friday I can tell you there’s is NOT good. Gross thin batter, and the fish smelled rough right as I opened my container. Not good. Grab a grinder without worry, grab a pizza it’s OK, but stay away from the oddball menu items if you can.

On May 16th, I called to place an order for two grinders. I waited until now to leave a review because I thought I would give the restaurant time to respond. My private message on Facebook was looked at, but nobody cared to respond, so now I’m putting them on blast. Whenever I order a grinder, I always add feta cheese to it. When I called, I was told they would have to check with the kitchen first. Why? If a person wants a specific cheese on something, and it’s a cheese you have available in the kitchen, just do what the customer asked. The funny thing is, this is the same exact grinder I ordered as a dine-in customer. At that time, there didn’t seem to be a problem. But when I called in my order, there was a problem. Thank you for ignoring your customer, you lost not just one, but two.

We over the Years have made the drive to Johnny’s because the tuna grinders with solid white meat were the greatest. Today we did it again. When we opened the tuna grinder found brown nasty bottom of the barrel tuna took a couple of bites and threw it in the trash. Never again we are out. Tony’s on 146 makes a tuna grinder like Johnny’s used too. We will make the drive there.

I’ve been eating at Johnny’s Pizza for years every time I come through that’s the first place I like to go food is very good no complaints there I just went in today Friday, July 28 and ordered a chef salad and they are now charging you a dollar for the dressing that you need to put on your salad which I think is being very petty and very cheap and I am not a cheap or petty person if they’re going to do that I think they should price the salad at $16 and give you the dressing for the salad that you need which would come with it anywhere else

I didn’t say anything when they changed their wing recipe but I can’t stand by while the mozzarella sticks get changed also it’s literally the only thing bringing me back and today I asked if they had the original which they replied yes to and somehow I end up with fried mozzarella’s instead of mozzarella sticks could have been an honest mistake but I spent almost 60$ on a small cheese pizza and 2 orders of sticks spending that much on so little I’m a little aggravated after driving 5 hours throughout the day the last thing I want to do is have to drive back
