Got take out a few weeks ago. Simple pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was $30 and unbelievably salty. Couldn’t finish more than a single slice. Could have used way less salt and more oregano / Italian seasonings.

I have been coming here for years. Very disappointed in my last visit. The food was extremely salty. I ordered chicken parm and it was a tiny slice of chicken loaded with salt and about 1/3 to be exact of undercooked pasta. The Detroit pie was just bread.I even asked for extra cheese and pepperoni. The pie 39$ and tiny plate of pasta and parm 32$ definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Quaint little Italian eatery with a wonderful collection of old time photos throughout. We ordered a plain cheese pizza and Caesar salad and the pizza was very good with excellent cheese and a great crunchy crust. The sauce was plain, though, and needed a little work. The Caesar salad was very good, clean-tasting with a tasty Caesar dressing. Great service and about $40 for a pizza , salad, and 3 drinks. No free refills for a tiny 8 oz soda, but I asked and the waiter was kind enough to give us a refill free of charge.

FANTASTIC restaurant!!! Outdoor seating + pet friendly. We ordered the shrimp scampi (which doesn’t not come with pasta) and a wonderful handmade custom pie. Everything was fresh, high quality and deliciously made.

I’ve lived in this town for the better half of a decade, and I inevitably get asked by weary travelers and vagabond tourists about “what’s the best pizza in Hoboken?” Well friends, you need not turn another corner on your cyber journey. The greatest Hoboken pizza rests at Johnny Pepperoni uptown. The 14 inch round pie (there’s also a square pie but I don’t dabble) is not the biggest pizza in town, but it’s thin and crispy, adequately cheesy and is also good if you endeavor to add pepperonis atop. There’s also good salads, serviceable wings and other appetizers like rice balls and burrata that are good. I’ve also heard the pasta is good but I come here for the round pie. It’s nice indoor/outdoor seating and pretty inexpensive for this area. Please note that it is BYOB!! Ain’t no jokin’, this is best za in ‘boken.

Uh. Did I just have the best spaghetti I’ve tasted in Hoboken here? How?

I’ve ordered delivery and takeout Detroit pizzas here and they are quite good. Last time I went to dine-in I ordered a Detroit pizza and they brought me a thin-crust round pie. They were utterly unconcerned at their error, which was pretty annoying. If I’d written this right after I would have been tempted to rate the place with one star.

Pretty solid food. The chicken piccata and desserts were very good. The pizza looked the best, wish I got it

I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and finally has the chance to swing by and get a pie for take out. It could have been a perfect pizza

Food was average for Hoboken, Partner and I both ordered Chicken Parm and friends split a pizza. Nothing special in that regard if you’re looking for a decent sit down pizza shop. The reason for two stars is the PRICE. Dear god, $26 for a Chicken Parm??? I understand if you’re a nice, sit down Italian restaurant but come on man, this is advertised as a pizza joint. We both got a pathetic 30 cent portion of spaghetti with some sauce, and two pieces of chicken cutlet, the second of which had no cheese on it since they were layered on top of each other. Listen, the chicken parm was fine. It tasted decent. But for $26 + tip and tax??? Go somewhere else. You’ll get more pasta and the same amount of chicken from Gio’s for $15, $20 from Napolis, or $25 from Margaritas which is actually advertised as a nice Italian place. If you just want pizza, it’s fine.
