Enjoyed our server and our food overall, but at 5pm they basically turn the lights off in the dining areas and I truly could not see my salad well it was that dark where we were sitting. Got a good beer and the price was reasonable not much different in comparison to most restaurants right now at least. I would go back and sit in a different area if we were planning to eat dinner.

My husband and I along with two other couples went to Johnny J’s for dinner & drinks last night. We got their around 5:30 pm. We received our drinks & appetizers in an average amount of time. Unfortunately, the rest of our dinner experience was not good. One couple got their dinner in about 15 minutes. The rest of our dinners didn’t get served until about 30 minutes later. We asked to talk to the manager about our disappointment. A bartender came over and told us there wasn’t a manager on duty that night and he was not authorized to do anything. When we got the bills we were surprised to see one comp was made for one couple but nothing for the other couple. This made absolutely no sense to us since 2 couples experienced the same slow service and late dinners. Needless to say, none of us will be going back to Johnny J’s anytime soon.

Brooke was great. Food was better than I thought. Portions were good size. Beer prices were pretty good especially during Happy Hour. Only problem was the double of the check taken out of my son’s bank account. Total was 126 n it was charged twice. He was charged on Saturday n the money was finally back in his account on Thursday

We’ve had Johnny J’s twice. Earlier this year, we had their all you can eat fish, which was fantastic. Most recently, we ordered steak salad and wings through DoorDash. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the wings tasted so good!

Very good Friday all you can eat fish fry. We had the breaded because we don’t like batter dipped. Started with 2 huge pieces. Came out hot and fresh. Was stuffed and never ordered a second round.Fries were crispy. Hush puppies were good. Not a fan of the coleslaw.
