Food is good. I don’t visit as often as my experiences haven’t been the greatest. Every so often when I receive a notice about a special, I’m convinced to try again. Last night while dining at this location I didn’t feel very welcomed, sort of typical. When I asked our waitress for bread, her response was, we usually don’t give bread when people order salads and pizzas. Really?? I was feeling tired and I simply wanted to enjoy a nice meal. It’s unfortunate that waitress came up with a silly excuse rather than simply wanting a customer to enjoy their experience. There’s been several unpleasant experiences at this location and I don’t plan on returning despite appealing specials. I vowed to not tip waitress as I was upset, and yet I couldn’t help it. I’m easy going. I wish some waiters and waitresses would stop behaving like their paying out of pocket for requests.

I stopped coming to this particular Johnny Carinos because the service was so slow. However I did go in at the opening hour, my service was really quick. I ordered the half wedge salad which is always so delicious. I recommend it. However, the pizza was horrid. Soft and wilted in the middle .ugh

The margarita was my favorite part, to be honest. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and a pepperoni pizza. The dip was a little soupy and bland and the chips felt old. Mozz sticks were good and had a good cheese pull. I was not a fan of the pizza and I agree with someone else comparing it to cafeteria food. What I did try put me off so I didn’t order anything else but will most likely be back to try an entree. The service was good and there was no waiting time to be seated. I would really like to give the food 3 stars for now, but I guess the service and drinks made up for it. I really liked the happy hour deals

Delicious! Food was piping hot even though we were served outside. I tried the pizza for the first time & it was perfect. Nice & thin, yet with a chewy crust and fresh tasting toppings. Would definitely get again. Their small is cut up into 4 slices. Even my son’s burger was delicious. And of course the entire reason we go there: my husband’s all time favorite spicy chicken & shrimp romano. I’m not a big pasta person (hence my pizza orde), but even I like this dish.

Food is not bad, just that they don’t accommodate my request. I wanted to order the ribeye steak as a sandwich – willing to pay the difference for 2 slices of bread and they would not honor it. I am floored. They offer a beef brisket dip for 18. They can’t just charge me the difference for the rib eye? Crazy. I can go to a fast food place and they can accommodate that easy. Unsure of why and the fact that the manager won’t budge, I guess I’ll never find out. Atmosphere is ok. Dead after 8 pm. Bar staff is friendly.

We had a birthday dinner for my daughter and had about 16 people in our party. We had a reservation a month ahead, said no problem we can handle it. They even called to confirm and again we asked can you handle it ,they said no problem you will get the best service and be taken care of, NOT. only had one waitress to handle our 2 tables , the food came staggering out, was not hot. we had to keep asking for silverware, napkins and water, it was like we were the forgotten table. And some of the family had ordered soup and salad and that was served after the dinner was almost over. Also the salad is $3.99 each. And then the food runners were talking about our table and laughing about it didn’t even bother to apologize ,one of the family members had ordered the hamburger and he got served dead last after everybody else was finished, And the waitress said will it take longer to cook a hamburger than it does anything else. Mind you someone had ordered a steak. also my great granddaughter food was delivered second to last.. So unless you have party more than two don’t go there because you’re going to get rotten service… I could see it if we just walked in but we had made a reservation a month of head of time and we’re guaranteed they would take good care of us…..and that just didn’t happen.. anyone I know will never return to Johnny carinos. Absolutely disgusting service ruined that.

We’ve been to Carinos before with much better results. My friend ordered Chicken Marsala, the chicken was overcooked, and the pasta undercooked!!! The ladies’ restroom was a disaster! Dirty, paper on the floor and in the stalls. There wasn’t any toilet paper or seat covers in 2 out of 3 stalls. That’s quite unusual, especially since it was around 7:30 pm on a Saturday night! They weren’t busy. About possibly 15 or so patrons. It seems there usually is a problem of one sort or another!

Went here for the first time. We sit in the bar side. Overall all of the employees were helpful and answering our questions. I don’t think they had any idea that it was our first time.
